I have been riding e-bikes for the last 15 years and have owned a number including higher-end brands such as Specialized and Bulls. The Roadster V3 is in a class of its own. I recently purchased the low step with front suspension and adjustable stem. Added the suspension seat post and a comfortable saddle and this bike rides like you are floating on air!! Also swapped out the gravel tires it came with for a smoother (asphalt oriented) Schwalbe Marathon Plus. For e-bikes, it's all about the weight and the Roadster V3 is one of the lightest e-bikes currently on the market. The fit and finish are perfect. When you triangulate between weight, price and features, its is hard to beat.

I’ve been riding the Ride1Up Roadster V3 for a while now, and it has completely changed my perspective on what a lightweight e-bike can do. If you’re looking for a bike that feels like a "real" bicycle but has the heart of a marathon runner, this is it. The "90-Mile" Club The biggest surprise for me has been the range. While the base bike is already efficient, I added the extended battery bottle, and the results have been incredible. I’m consistently getting almost 90 miles of range on a single charge. Because I’m a lighter rider (about 148 lbs) and I enjoy actually pedaling, the "Intui-Drive" torque sensor works wonders. It doesn't just dump power; it mimics my effort. When I keep it in the lower assist levels, the bike just sips battery. I can go for weekend-long adventures without even looking at the battery indicator.

Bike seems ok. Really hard to reach top speed. If you want to go 28 you’re gonna have to be in great shape and pedal as hard as you can. I ride 12 miles a day and generally cruise around 26. If the weather is cold 24 and if the battery isn’t fully charged 23/24. The front headlight is pretty bad. It’s bright enough but you can only angle it so high because it bumps into the mount. So you basically aim it 1 foot in front of your tire. I ended up taking the bolt out and flipping the light. Though then it won’t tighten down correctly. It does catch I between the cables which works for now to hold it, but it’s definitely not ideal. You’ll need to find a light with similar specs if you want to cut and hardwire it in to use the normal light controls or just forgo that and just have to use a light separate. I’d upgrade pedals ASAP. My last medium bike fit me a little better as well. This one may run a bit larger than my Jamis for whatever reason? I do enjoy riding it. Though I bumped it down because these fixes seem very easy.

Absolutely love the bike and it's performance. Its a very clean and elegant bike, and I like the fact that it still feels like a regular bike. Its hard to tell that its an ebike to be honest! I get a lot of people turning heads and looking at it! I am here in San Francisco and even on super steep hills it still does well if you put in in a lower gear. Other then that, it handles everything else with else with the 500W motor. In my opinion, one of the best looking ebikes on the market for the money! I am very happy with the purchase so far!

Perfect exercise bike. I am getting old and this bike makes me feel like I have the energy and endurance of a 14 year old kid. I put over 250 miles on it the first two weeks and look forward to my exercise now. I have never had so much fun riding a bicycle.

Roadster V3 (with Suspension)
The Roadster V3 has quickly become my new favorite bike. Assembly was super easy—one of the simplest setups I’ve experienced with any bike. Everything was well-packaged, clearly thought out, and in my case, no adjustments were needed right out of the box. It was ready to ride immediately. Excellent quality control.
The bike itself is really well made. It feels solid and thoughtfully designed. The ride is incredibly smooth and it’s impressively quiet—so quiet that you almost forget it’s an e-bike. Pedaling definitely feels more natural. I was a bit concerned about the small display especially after riding my wife’s Vorsa and seeing it’s much bigger screen but that was not the case. It has all of the essential info that is needed and is still plenty visible.
One thing I really appreciate is how easy it is to pedal even when the bike is turned off. If the battery were to die, it still rides close to a regular, non-e-bike (in a lower gear, maybe that is obvious).
I am 5'9" and ordered the large frame. I can stratal the top bar with my feet flat on the ground.

I am 5 ft 7 inches and the Low Step works for me.

Clean efficient ride.
4.8 star. Excellent build quality for a $1400 Ebike. Easy assembly, comfortable ride, great value. The only con I found is the braze-on for the water bottle on the step thru model will not accommodate a bottle cage. I tried front and side entry cages with no success. Not enough room for a standard bike bottle. This is super frustrating to me. A bike without an accessible water bottle is just a pain. There are aftermarket work arounds but not nearly as good. I guess the braze on is only for spare battery maybe? Why not move it 2″ lower to allow for a proper water bottle.

Hello, the bottle cage on the Low-step model should allow for a side mounting water battle to be used without obstruction. We can share an example photo if you can reach out to us here – https://ride1up.com/contact/
Thank you for your review and feedback!
The bike is good. I thought I could pedal to 28 mph. It’s winter so I’ll have to try again this spring. I Wish it had a derailleur guard.
