Best bike I have ever owned! I also had a R1Up LMT'D but find the sleek roadster fits my riding style better. I can hardly tell I am riding an E-bike. It is light, nimble and has plenty of power going up even the steepest hills. I did find the 44T chainring too small for the lowest gear but a 48T is perfect balance of leg and motor power. I am not in great shape but was able to go 25 miles on rolling hills with 25% battery left using mostly the greatest boost mode. The throttle is a game changer for me as I get my legs back in shape but can still go the distance I want. This is the bike I have always dreamed of since I was a kid trying to pedal my single speed Schwinn tank and wishing we had motors like this back then!

This is my first Ebike and I couldn't be more pleased. Shipping was fast, the bike was packaged very well and arrived with no damage at all. Assembly was straight forward and easy. Required tools were included. My bike was perfect right out of the box. Kudos to the production team and QA. The components are excellent and the battery out lasts my body with plenty left for another ride. Today I rode 26 miles on economy mode with 66% left in the battery. This bike is beautiful and I receive compliments on the trail often. Thank you ride1up for this awesome bike.

I also bought the suspension seat post, but I feel more confortable with the original seat. This fast, smooth, comfortable bike delivers everything I have wanted. The ability to keep up with the "fast guys" still not be gassed after 20 miles is a joy.

I am enjoying the Roadster V3 quite a bit. No complaints on the bike itself, although I recommend adding a suspension seatpost for more comfort. I got the extended range battery, which has been great for long rides, but do not use the mounting bolts that came with it; they protrude and scrape the paint on the extended battery case. Swapping them for low profile bolts fixed the issue.

Great bike, handles both roads and trails
Rides really well without using the assistance due to the nice gearing. Do wish it had one more top gear, no more drive going down a medium hill , but travelling at 30+ mph. No complaints. Extra battery go option if you like 30+ mile rides.
Love my bike! Great for long rides or doing errands
Love the bike so far. Lighter than most e-bikes. Very well designed. Perfect for my hilly commute.
It does the job but upon arrival the front brake pads or rotor do not stop properly otherwise freeze and throw you off the bike. Just have some experience and you should know what to do and just wear a helmet. Contacted support but the brake pads have not come in it’s been about two weeks, so just expect parts to come in later than sooner. The hub and spokes can be real tight and they creak and crack upon pedaling so be aware of the noise. The customer support people said keep riding it and let it settle. But just remember after 20 miles they won’t take your return anymore so really the problem will show up after the short return period so not sure if you want to risk it. The other issue is that either the headset or the hub sometimes feel like they get caught. Now to be fair I don’t know if it’s my pedaling too hard or what but something is weird about that and it’s inconsistent and hard to track down, maybe the torque sensor just gets wonky. Expect that when you get this bike you’ll probably have to work with customer support and be a test engineer a little bit. In short multiple manufacturing and performance issues but when it works it works. Might just have to sell this one and call it quits, got a tight schedule thought this might help but you really do need to set aside time to work on this. If you have time to fix the bike and try and work it out not the worst I’ve seen but if you want to avoid the headache maybe look elsewhere. I also have thousands of miles of experience riding other road bikes and I would not recommend this bike to a friend or family but if you get it with the price cut by two thirds ehhh it get you there, just have experience and wear a helmet with it being a problem and all but overall ehh 2/5.
I purchased the Roadster v3 because of its light weight and versatility. I previously owned a larger ebike but it became to burdensome to ride and lift. At 62 I needed something that fit my lifestyle without the crushing weight of most ebikes. This was it! I do all of my riding on paved/dirt roads and mild dirt trails. The suspension and adjustable handlebars make for a very smooth, comfortable ride.
Absolutely love the bike! Very easy to shift gears and is a great ride. I ride it on paved bike paths and I can get a great leg and cardio workout. Glad we did the research on getting a lighter e-bike much easier to maneuver then my previous one that was 65 lbs. Thanks
