I bought my One Ride Up Portola about a month ago so I've had a chance to really ride it. Originally I bought it to use as a fishing bike along the Cape Cod Canal. It was fantastic for that. I also use it for recreational riding. The bike has far exceeded my expectations. It was easy to put together and it was ready to go right out of the box. I have mostly used it in pedal assist- in numbers 1,2 and 3. So easy to pedal in pedal assist. The brakes work great and the shifting is super smooth with the gearing. I must have covered 15 miles one day at the canal and only used about a quarter of the battery. My battery is a 10.4AH. I mounted a milk crate to the back of the bike for my fishing rod and equipment. I screwed a board to the bottom of my crate and mounted the Connect + adapter bracket which I also purchased. This bracket allows me to remove the crate when folding up the bike and reattaching is simple. The adapter is a highly valuable piece of equipment for this bike and the possibilities of customizing additions to the rack are endless. I see NO NEGATIVES to this bike. A real good deal and highly recommended.

Love the quality of the build. We bought two. One for me and one for my wife. Live in a hilly area and with both of us at age 69 the Portola is a great ride. Will recommend to our friends and family. My Portola had the emblem attached upside down but that makes it a collector bike. See photo.

What a beautiful bike! I was expecting it to be smaller but ends up being the perfect size. I especially love that it’s foldable and can actually fit into my Mini Cooper. The quality is great and the ride is amazing! I had the best time taking it out for my first ride and got A LOT of compliments!

We love our new ebikes! They were very well packaged, and arrived with no damage at all. Assembly was very minimal, and easy. The many videos and tutorials available were very helpful. We did have one issue on one of the bikes with a non functioning headlight, but customer service was very quick to respond, and get the necessary part to us very quickly. The quality and performance are exceptional. The portola is a great choice for those who need an easy to transport, and compact to store option.

We love our portola's! This is my first ebike and I wanted one that felt natural when pedaling and it does. When I test rode Lectric I did not like for this reason and was worried about the portola performance but couldn't be happier. Wven pedaling with no assist is very nice. My only complaint is assist level higher than 2 is usless to me with gearing as I would just use the throttle.

I’ve been using this e-bike mainly for grocery runs, beer runs, and visiting friends within about a 6-mile radius, and overall it’s been pretty good.

Compared to other e-bikes, I’d say it’s average. The bike is a little on the heavy side, especially if you need to lift it. The range is about what you’d expect for this class of bike. The throttle is responsive, although the pedal assist has a slight lag before it kicks in. It’s not a big issue, and I do like that you can adjust the pedal assist settings to match your riding style.

For riding, it does well on paved roads and is decent on gravel paths. For casual local trips, it gets the job done.

My biggest complaint is the kickstand. It felt very flimsy and actually broke on the second day. The bike was parked on grass and simply tipped over, and the kickstand snapped with very little force. The way it failed made me question the quality of the metal used for that component, and maybe even the overall build quality.

The other thing I don’t like is the display. It looks cheap and outdated compared to what many other e-bikes offer today.

Overall, it’s a solid average e-bike. It rides well enough for everyday errands and short trips, but there are definitely a few areas where the quality could be improved.

The second lightest foldable on the market is a good value. Works good and is fun to ride

Great little e-bike! Jumps off the block under full class 3 power, extremely responsive. The only issue, it’s heavy AF! Not a problem if you don’t need to transport or carry up a flight of stairs.

Overall it is very good given the price point. I would like to see a larger capacity battery offered and also a larger chain ring to reduce ghost peddling as the assist levels are adjustable. Very happy overall.
