Great bike i go for a ride outside my comfort zone and my capability. They messed up on cassette but they sent me replacement in 2days.

I am mostly using my bike for commuting to work and running errands around town, but was looking to get a bike that will strike a balance between allowing me to ride more efficiently with light frame and dropdown bars while not having a bit of power to help me climbing all the hills in the city where I live (and there are a lot). CF Racer1 allows exactly that, and I really love the versatility it offers without breaking the budget to get a comparable bike that is 2-3 times more expensive.

Love this bike. I have just gotten interested in biking, mostly small paved and gravel bike trails. I took this on a weekend trip and the battery lasted the entire weekend with around 50 miles ridden on it as well. The mileage and charge definitely makes a difference based on how much pedal assist you use. But overall it's perfect for me...it takes the edge off of me struggling but yet allows me to adjust as I ride and continue to build strength and more endurance to continue to ride longer and longer rides.

Received the bike in perfect condition. Well package, good delivery, and easy assembly. I already put 83 miles on it and extended the time and distance of my normal bike rides. Highly recommended!

the CF Racer1 road is awesome. it looks and feels like a normal road bike and you don’t notice the weight of the motor and battery until you lift and carry it into the house or in and out of the car. even riding with pas set to zero is fine on mostly flat roads

Just an amazing experience from day one. Shipping was impeccable and the bike showed up flawless. Since the first ride I've had nothing but positive experiences with this bike. It's decent components paired with the carbon frame deliver an incredibly smoothe ride on my local streets. I had to swap seats on my older Gravelster but the seat on the cf racer is perfect for me. I'm not having any issues putting my time in on the bike. Honestly, I can't think of anything I don't like about the bike. Oh, I DID swap out the pedals for some carbon fiber ones I found on Amazon. Other than that, I'm all stock and really having the time of my life on this thing. You DO have to pedal this bike. Not throttle and the tiny motor isn't built for that. Once rolling and utilizing the gears, the motor is quite impressive on this bike allowing me to hit speeds near 30 mph and to maintain a 20+ mph contant speed for miles on end on the streets... I'm getting roughly 30 miles out of a charge and that's heavily relying on PAS 3 and 4. Thanks to everyone that had a hand in building this bike. You did a marvelous job. 😃

Amazing bike! Creat customer service was able to help me price match discounted deal within 30 days. Shipping was superb and bike has been a hoot to ride! 100 miles under my belt so far and no issues. Awesome bike and company!

Very capable e-gravel explorer that is extremely affordable and decked out with quality components. Carbon is a bit delicate for true Offroad gravel and will show some abrasions from rocks and sticks as you grind out a single track. Gearing is great for moderately steep dirt and rock climbs IF the soil is harder packed. You don't even need the pedal assist to climb unless it is a long but and get steeper. Doesn't do well in soft stuff and due to geometry, you're way over the handlebars descending so you need to be controlled and calculated. Definitely no downhill bombing in the Offroad. Downhill, I've pressed 32.5mph (no pedal assist) and it starts to feel a bit unstable. On flats, you can get up to speed quickly with no E assist, with it in 5, you can easily hit 27 mph. I'm 5'8" with shorter legs and went with size S. Though standover is perfect the length of the body (say handlebar stem to seat) feels short and with proper seat height for optimal pedal power, you're in a rather aggressive position even with hands on top of the bars. Again I think this goes back to geometry. Comparing this to a canyon grzl or specialized diverge carbon gravel bikes which are not e-bikes, they are close in weight and capability but are more relaxed in geometry and stature. There is definitely some motor drag that you feel with pedal assist off. I try to do as much in that mode as I can before I switch on but that resistance does slow you up and wears the legs after a bit. Wish it felt more free wheeling and disconnected the motor clutch or whatever the terms are. Pedal assist 1 seems to be closer to neutral/less resistance. I use level 2 or 5 most often. 5 gets you there, now. Sometimes you pedal lightly in 5 and laugh about how you're still sweating and panting but you're hauling. Battery life is great. Never burned more than barely into 3 bars and the longest ride I've taken over the last two weeks was just shy of 18 miles. Mixed paved bike trails, Offroad dirt and rock, singletracks, and some paved roads as well. I already have a slow leaks in the rear tire so I pump it up before each outing, but will be converting to tubeless soon. Was well packed and easy to assemble. Was missing a handlebar cap but R1UP listened and made it right. All the reviews are right. This is a super fun bike and a great value.

With over 250 miles on this bike I can say I love it. I push myself as much as I can with no assist and use assist when needed to keep up with others I ride with that are in better shape. Great battery size to keep overall bike weight down at the same time it has enough power to offer assist when needed.
How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. Good fit overall. I'm 5'10" and ordered Gravel large size
Wow, I am a beginner rider, which is part of the reason for choosing this bike. I feel more confident being able to climb the mountains and not having to struggle.
Assembly was a cinch, even for me, who has never assembled a bike before. The included torque wrench was an added bonus.
I may spring for a connect bke rack and the panniers, but will hold off for now.
How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. I'm 5'9", and the large-framed bike fits well. I was afraid that it would be too large and a tad long, but I can reach the handle comfortably. If I were any shorter though, it may be an issue.

How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. Fits perfectly for 5'6 1/2
Now at about 700 miles of cycling and it has been really good. A heart condition means I cycle it with no battery most of the time with help from the motor on steep or long hills, range has been very good, about 150 miles per charge. The frame has been comfortable all the time. I bought the Road version and have changed the tires to gravel type to avoid punctures, the gearing is good for me. A high quality bike at a very good cost.
Only one complaint, there is no cable joint to allow the rear wheel to be removed completely, not a deal breaker.
How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. The small size frame suits me well, I am 5ft 9inches tall and about 145lbs weight. Good knee room, pedalling height is good and the seat to handle bar room is ok for me.
I am giving it a 3, because my bike arrived with the two set screws for the saddle missing. Everything else is fine, but, as of now, my bike is sitting in a garage. I will need to contact your customer support and order them. It doesn’t make me happy that it took 25 days for the bike to arrive and now I have to wait who knows how long before the screws will be shipped to me. Hopefully, you use a different carrier than the one that delivered my bike.
How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. I think the bike will work fine for my height, based on my using a tape measure. I am 5'6" and I ordered a small.
William, we are sorry to hear about the shipping delay and the missing parts but happy to see our support team has taken care of this for you.
This bike has been everything I hoped it would be. I use it on my work commute, and on the 2.5 uphills where of course the road suddenly narrows but the cars don’t slow down, I use power level 4 and I get out of there quickly and feel safer. Love it.
How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. I am 5'10", the size Large fits perfectly for my needs.
