In the age of universal derailleur hangers this piece fo crap is using a proprietary hanger that not only costs 5x but is also not in stock. So it just takes up space in my garage

Ordered on line and ordered the wrong bike. I needed female bike. After I had it put together realized it. To late to send it back. But at my age it will be unridable in a fre years with cross bar. But I love the light weight of it.

Best bike I have ever owned! I also had a R1Up LMT'D but find the sleek roadster fits my riding style better. I can hardly tell I am riding an E-bike. It is light, nimble and has plenty of power going up even the steepest hills. I did find the 44T chainring too small for the lowest gear but a 48T is perfect balance of leg and motor power. I am not in great shape but was able to go 25 miles on rolling hills with 25% battery left using mostly the greatest boost mode. The throttle is a game changer for me as I get my legs back in shape but can still go the distance I want. This is the bike I have always dreamed of since I was a kid trying to pedal my single speed Schwinn tank and wishing we had motors like this back then!

This is my first Ebike and I couldn't be more pleased. Shipping was fast, the bike was packaged very well and arrived with no damage at all. Assembly was straight forward and easy. Required tools were included. My bike was perfect right out of the box. Kudos to the production team and QA. The components are excellent and the battery out lasts my body with plenty left for another ride. Today I rode 26 miles on economy mode with 66% left in the battery. This bike is beautiful and I receive compliments on the trail often. Thank you ride1up for this awesome bike.

Overall, I’m thrilled with this bike. I have the large frame with the rigid fork and the 9-speed drivetrain. I’m 6’1.5″ with roughly a 32-inch inseam, and it fits me great. I’ve had it for a few months and put about 150 miles on it, mostly on lots of short commutes to work.
Assembly was easy. I have experience working on bikes, but anyone who’s generally handy can do it with the step-by-step setup videos on YouTube.
The bike is lightweight, powerful, and fun to ride. The motor is quiet and the battery lasts a long time for its size. One of the biggest highlights is that it’s very rideable with the assist completely off. I’ve done two 10-mile rides with no assist, and I regularly ride around town that way. It’s no carbon race bike, but for a casual ride with friends it’s totally manageable.
The seating position is also great. It’s efficient enough to put power down without being so bent over that longer rides get uncomfortable. The Microshift Advent drivetrain has worked great since day one, and the brakes, seat, grips, and Schwalbe G-One RS tires are all excellent. I planned to swap the grips but ended up keeping them.
Huge shout out to Ride1Up customer service. I ordered the rear rack a few weeks later, and one of the small arms arrived bent. I sent a photo and they shipped a replacement right away. The rack is good too.
I do have a few minor complaints. My biggest wish is a lower assist level. Level 1 gives more assist than I want. Since the bike is so efficient and such a joy to pedal unassisted, a firmware update with a lighter setting would be great for squeezing out even more range. The kickstand bolts into the chainstay also keeps working loose. It doesn’t affect stability, but it’s wobbly, so I plan to add more thread locker. The stock pedals feel more suited to cruising in sandals, so I swapped them out to pedals with more aggressive pins.
The fenders work well in the rain (I’ve ridden in rain three times now), but a longer rear fender would be nice to have. The wired-in lights are great for always being legal after dark, but for real night riding I use brighter USB lights. The headlight is better than the taillight. I also wish the fork had mounting bosses for a front rack or basket. To my knowledge, the only options are thru-axle mounted racks like Old Man Mountain.
I’ve also seen other reviews mention that serviceability can be tricky, with a custom derailleur hanger, custom stem, and tight rear brake and motor area. That’s a common trade-off for sleek, lightweight e-bikes with hidden cables. I haven’t had to deal with it yet, but I wanted to point it out for people reading this review.
All in all, this bike is an unbelievable value and I’ve been having a blast riding it. Highly recommend!

So far, better than good! Early days yet, but the bike has met and surpassed my expectations in terms of value, functionality and fairness of the brand. Due to the transportation, both wheels required a professional shop to ‘true’ them and 1Rideup covered the cost under warranty, with no fuss. Excellent value, with components that work flawlessly and a battery that gave me a full 50 miles on my first charge (mostly on first and second level of assistance, flat terrain, no throttle). My only regret is that there is no proprietary bag made for the excellent rear rack system and no plans to make one, forcing us to default to some generic bag.
I highly recommend it and would buy again with no hesitation!

I love the bike! Only wish it were about 10 pounds lighter
