Love, love, love!!!!! The features I especially love are the look, comfortable seat and handlebar grips, front light, tires, and ease to learn how to ride (my first ebike.) I did contact customer service for support and they were very responsive and took care of my issue. Why 4/5 stars? The distance between the seat nose and bar is miniscule for a petite 5' tall woman. When dismounting the seat nose jams in my back. Because of this, it was necessary for me to give up my cushy stock seat in exchange for an uncomfortable noseless seat. Also, it is heavy but I knew that when I chose it. It did arrive with some minor cosmetic damage that was not caused by the shipper. A suggestion for Ride1Up, go ahead and pop a back light on there! Super inexpensive but saves buyer from having to purchase one more thing.

I love my new Turris! My dad bought the Cafe Cruiser months ago, and has raved about his Ride1Up bike ever since. Living in Seattle, I was intimidated to ride since we have lots of hills. My Turris has helped me to get outside and easily bike around the city. The pedal assist and throttle functionality are easy to use, and I find that I can ride 10+ miles without my bum hurting thanks to a cushioned seat. I’m also impressed with the battery life, considering I use pedal assist nearly every ride. I highly recommend any Ride1Up bike if you’re considering - such a valuable purchase! My good friend & my husband have also purchased their own models recently. Additionally, my husband assembled the Turris with ease and I took it to a local allied repair shop to do a safety check for minimal cost.

I'm loving my new Turris. It's a fun, sturdy bike and looks great! I've only had the bike for about 6 weeks and I've ridden over 350 miles in that time. I've discovered many places in my neck of the woods that I didn't even know existed. Around every corner, I want to go just a little further to see what's next. I'm also down several pounds and feel much more energetic than I have in several years.

I took thing thing on a 111.5 mile ride I had a trek fx+2 and got doored by a car. Luckily insurance covered the bike and paid me in full. My newfound Love for trail riding had me thinking I might want to look at another bike. The Turris was the absolute perfect choice. I got a bike that fits my needs better AND an extra battery for waaay cheaper than my last bike. I use this bike for commuting, doordash, and trail riding. It’s unbelievably smooth in the city. I’m hitting bumps on purpose just for fun. On the trails, it’s also really smooth although I think I need to invest in a suspension seatpost for those long rides. I strapped my extra battery to the back with the intention of returning with zero battery bars remaining and 111.5 miles and 16 hours later that’s exactly what happened. The first battery was used mostly at levels 2 and 3, with 4 and 1 mixed in when it made sense. I basically just wanted to use it at a comfortable pace while still getting a decent workout. That battery died at 50.9 miles. I never expected to be 50 miles from home. I was thinking maybe 60 miles TOTAL so I was pleasantly surprised. The second battery, I decided I could be a little less conservative since there was a route home about 10 miles shorter. I used level 3 consistently with 2 and 4 mixed in. Unfortunately my phone died.. I took a wrong turn and went TEN MILES out of the way. I’m down to 2 battery bars. I stop at a bar to juice up my phone and my stomach and realize I’m 30 miles from home. PAS 1 felt pretty good at 10 AM.. not so much at 10PM. I made it 25 miles on mostly PAS1 with 0 and 2 mixed in. 111.5 miles on 2 batteries. One thing to note is that when you’re low on battery, the bike isn’t quite as powerful as it was with full battery so if you go 25 miles on the first few battery bars, that doesn’t mean you can go 25 on the last few. PAS 1 was going a steady 12 mph with full battery, but a slow 8mph on low battery. (Also I could barely move my knee so that didn’t help) The only thing I don’t lIKE about the bike is that bottom mount battery. I haven’t had an issue, I just worry that could be problematic in the future but what do I know. I strap it up just for extra security. There was unfortunately a little defect (glue maybe?) on the frame of the bike. I honestly don’t care but just thought I’d note that. I really have no other complaints. I’d obviously love a mid drive, torque sensor bike and I will get one eventually, but it’s not as big of a dealbreaker as I thought and you can absolutely get a good workout on this bike, or just hit the throttle and get to work real quick. When I used the bike on a shorter 22 mile ride, it made it no problem while not really trying to conserve battery at all. I Love having two batteries knowing I can have a QUICK 50 mile ride, or a slow “relaxing” 111.5 mile ride. I thought I might sacrifice on quality by going for a cheaper bike but I don’t feel that way at all. I was doing little side trails meant for mountain bikes no problem. It’s a lot of fun and gets compliments on the trail and in the city all the time. Good looking, fun bike and I’m stoked on the purchase.

My Turris has been phenomenal. I’ve got just over 450 miles on it. I originally decided to get my own e-bike because I was starting to take the wife’s 500 series out a lot. I wanted an upgraded fork, brakes, and tires though. The Turris delivered that perfectly. In modes 1 and 2 I’ve consistently seen my range over 65 miles. The bike tracks well at 20mph on a loose gravel road. I did change the handlebars to the Jones H bar and I believe that was a great upgrade, but the overall performance of the bike has exceeded my expectations.

Excellent value and a really fun ride. The features on this bike cost 30-50% more from any other company.

Great bikes and great value. Just took them for an RV trip to Table Rock State Park for hiking. Park has serious inclines and declines on the roads within it and the bikes performed great. Handled every incline with minimal effort and the brakes worked great on the steep declines. Only slight negative so far is on my wifes Step Through the design has her immediately hitting the downward support bar on dismount because the seat is so close to it. Definitely could not utilize the bottle holders there. FYI those who may complain about the difficulty of assembly should not be trying to build anything. It was very straightforward and easy.

First off, this is a great bike at any price, but the price just can’t be ignored in any review for this e-bike, hydraulic brakes, 7 speeds with name brand and industry recognized components, great range…are you kidding me? Stop reading and order one. Get out and see the scenery. You’ll love it.

Great bike, not one issue since I've had it, try to ride at least 5 miles a day in the neighborhood. Also purchased a bike rake for the car that has a ramp that makes it to load with the battery installed when taking it to the state park bike trails.

I'm extremely satisfied with my Turris. I had not ridden a bicycle in close to a decade before buying it - in the month since, I've ridden just over 500 miles! While I thought I might enjoy commuting occasionally on the bike, it has taken the place of my car as the vehicle of choice for my daily commute. It has also gotten me out on the local trails - though I've lived in this city for almost twenty years, it is allowing me to explore and discover places I had never been before. I quickly found the end of the trail, in fact! I would recommend the Turris, Ride1Up, and ebiking in general to anyone interested.

I purchased the ST model—if you own bikes before then assembling the Turris would not be difficult.

love this bike, I have bought two of the Turris step through, me and my wife. Only thing is there was a little damage by the way of a couple of scratches and missing two bolts. I have a friend that got one as well and the same with hers.

Love my new Turris. It looks Bad ass. (Left the front fender off and got a rack for the back). Assembly was pretty straight forward except for the front caliper spacer. It is thicker on one end than the other. I would have liked to see that more clear. It is a really comfy bike with the front shock and a 40 lb rear tire. Seat is the best I have ever had on 6 bikes. Battery life is great, so far. I am learning to watch the watts power to stretch it. My trips are fairly short and I have about 40 miles on a full charge showing 4 bars remaining. It is so fast that wind noise in my ears is now a factor. Neck gator up over my ears helps that. For what ever reason it is very nimble directionally. More than my canondale mountain bike. Surprise. It lives in my living room for a dual purpose of art. It is important to me to love looking at things I use for transportation and seeing them as very cool. My Turris does that. The guilt of using an e bike is subsiding since I can use a lower assist level and get my heart going and still actually get some place. Head winds are less a factor. New thought. I saw your post of confrontations of e bikers and karens. Not a fan. Bikers of all kinds can tend to be confrontational. I would like to see you promoting the view that we are not pushing our presence. Being good ambassadors for bikes is a better choice in my opinion. We are not always as visible as we might think and we sometimes are invisible. Wave and say thanks when a driver gives us some space. No reason to expand or create a divide between the vehicles. Cars are still bigger and you don't know if the driver has had his coffee yet or too much coffee and carries. I will work to take my own advice. Thanks for a great bike and a quality feel for a good value price. All the best neal sw Florida

Got 30 miles on bike. It’s been fun learning it’s dynamics. There were/are two issues. The back brake doesn’t grab enough to have an effect. Looked on YouTube, I’ll try to loosen mount, see if that doesn’t fix, before I touch screw adjustment. Second, there is a disconnected wire. I didn’t see it upon unboxing. It’s right behind the display. The only place for a wire to enter the display has a wire in it. Everything on display works as it should, however…. My battery status still shows 5 bars. I rode the bike approximately 5 miles then charged it for 3 hours. That was 24 miles ago. Still 5 bars. I was thinking maybe the wire reported battery status? I really enjoy the bike. I am careful with my equipment, so I don’t think I pulled the wire out, but I’m not perfect. The box it came in was beat to hell, but I didn’t see any issues when I removed it. Any ideas? I like your product.

When compared to Trek or Aventon this is better choices since your getting the same premium options as those for a much lower price. I'm 225 6 ft so it is good for tall riders and have put on nearly 130 miles, so far very happy with purchase. This bike is for you If you're looking for a affordable priced e-bike for commuting, exploring bike paths, or just fun, and prefer an upright comfort position, the Turris is excellent. With a relaxed disposition, confidence-inspiring tires, and plenty of range, the Turris can get you out exploring beyond the range of a regular bike . Given its price, comfort, and capabilities, this is a great value.

Everything has been "smooth sailing" from the get go. Arrived promptly, pretty easy to assemble, comfortable and zippy ride, and appreciate the ability to customize the PAS levels. 250 km so far and no issues.

Building the bike was easy; the accessories, rear rack and basket took more effort than it should have. First ride; bayou, head winds, multiple PAS levels, speeds, gearing. 20 miles about 1/3 battery capacity. I'm impressed, additionally have a 700XR and a few other e-bikes. I'm looking forward to putting the miles behind me on my new Turris.

The Turris is a modern budget-friendly ebike. One of the main features you don't often see at this price is hydraulic disc brakes. Check out our full review: https://ebikeescape.com/ride1up-turris-review/

Very happy with my Turris. This bike rides really well, and has excellent range. A great e-bike at a reasonable price! We'll be looking at getting another Turris for my wife, to replace the e-bike we got her last year.

I did very extensive research prior to purchasing my Turris and there is no doubt that it paid off. This is my first ebike and I couldn’t be more pleased. So much bike at such a great price! I’m singing the praises of Ride 1 Up to everyone who comments on the Turris- it gets noticed! I’m one happy customer!!

Ryan from Ebike Escape
Ride1Up continues to define what we can expect on an affordable electric bike. The Turris is priced as an entry level ebike but still has hydraulic disc brakes and a motor capable of 28 mph. The included fenders and front light are nice additions. Plus it looks like a more expensive ebike than it is. I sold my “Aventon Aventure” to purchase the Turris and I’m glad I did. The Turris is perfect for my needs and here’s why: 1st of all when I bought my Aventon nobody reviewed the companies, only the bikes. Aventon was an absolute nightmare to deal with…up to 11days for them to answer an email inquiry about any problems I had with my bike. Aventon doesn’t take phone calls. Ride 1ups customer service is incredible! Second to NONE!! Gregory in Wisconsin, Chad, and others have helped me instantly over the phone. I called numerous times with questions before my purchase which they very knowledgably and courteously answered.. . and a few times since my purchases . Yes, purchases. I bought the step through for my wife and the step over for myself.
2nd, I’m a 64 year old avid cyclist.. I thought I’d replace my Aventon with a “Trek” but at $2,500 trek didn’t have the features I need. The Turris has some major features I need . 9 years ago I developed a neuro-muscular condition called Myasthenia Gravis. I need a cadence sensor not a torque sensor just incase I’m having a problem pedaling and can’t exert the force that some torque sensors seem to require. Secondly the Turris has a throttle (unlike Trek) which is a comfort just in case my legs or diaphragm decide to briefly quit working. I also love the fact that I can program the bike to have between 0 and 9 pedal assist levels. I have 7 right now with levels of power set at 15%-25%-35%-50%-60%-75% and 99% power. I never use More than p.a.s 4 with 50% power which has proven sufficient and I live in The black forest in Colorado which is very hilly (9 to18% grades) btw, I’m 6’2″ and 198lbs . Also I love the active throttle without having to be in any P.A.S. level. This allows me to ride like a regular mechanical bike and only use a little throttle when needed.
3rd, Thankfully Ride 1up doesn’t have an APP that I have to go through to make any adjustment while riding.
So all that to say I’m very pleased with the Turris and Ride 1up as a company. The price was less than half of the “Trek” with greater range per charge (46 miles) last charge… and the features I want and need. I wasn’t looking for a budget ebike but ended up with the Turris for the features it provides and the customer service.
NOTE TO RIDE 1UP: Thank you! Some of us need cadence sensors-throttles-throttle with no P.A.S and don’t like apps.
nice bike and good product support.
Great Ebike. Fun to ride, easy to use. Get a friend to ride with and make the experience better.
I am very happy with my Ride1UpTurris! I have put over 300 miles on my bike in the first 6 weeks. It is a comfortable bike to ride with plenty of power. I usually ride along about 20 MPH and usually ride 25 to 30 miles each ride and I have had no issues with running out of battery. I have no complaints about my Turris! And it was a great price too.
So far it runs well only had a minor problem during assembly process can’t wait to ride more when it warms up sucks winter is approaching.
I struggled with getting the bearings in the head, but once together it’s a great bike! Very comfortable riding and zippy when called upon. Tires allow going most anywhere….
