The colors on the 2026 models are incredible. I love my Azure Blue. The battery size increase has been remarkable compared to my Portola 1. Battery anxiety was never a problem before but now I really do not have to worry about the battery dying. The biggest complaint is the handlebars. There is a lack of room to add things to it like the P1. I also notice a speed decrease from the P1. Same weight on both bikes and the lack of power on the P2 is very noticable. The ride is smooth and very enjoyable. Build quality is top notch and really love most of the upgrades added. The computer display is much more modern and easier to use than the P1. The ability to change output and other settings on a better screen is great. The rack on the rear is much nicer than the P1. Battery removal is easier as well. Suggestions for the next bike: Power should increase or stay the same, not decrease. Bell could be smaller considering the lack of handlebar space. A sound for the signal light so it's not forgotten about.

Best value in the industry for the quality of build. I’m looking for the next Portola for the family!
This is my first e-bike, after much research I bought the new Portola 2 fold-up. I know I made the right decision as it is very nice. Love the torque sensor and all the different peddle assist options. The fit and finish is excellent and the buying process was outstanding.
If you are looking for a fold up and there are a lot of options out there I would highly recommend.

I upgraded from the original Portola to the Portola 02. I loved the original and I love the 02 even more. It has some very nice upgrades! The display is much nicer (including showing battery percentage), the motor is way quieter, and the ability to choose between cadence and torque sensor is awesome. The only negative for me is that the new handlebar style makes it really hard to put on a mount for my phone. Except for that, everything is great. I really love that the bike folds. I keep it in the back of my car and pull it out for rides whenever I feel like it. It is heavy, but I can manage it, and it’s totally worth it. I am very happy with my purchase!
I am 5'6" and the bike fits me very well.
