FAQ'S

minus plus
Can I test ride a bike? minus plus

We are a direct-to-consumer electric cruiser bike company both in pricing and strategy. You will generally pay a premium for the ability to test ride an electric bike through a dealer. However, our electric bikes have been thoroughly tested by top reviewers such as Electric Bike Review, Electric Bike Report, Cycling Weekly, Clean Technica, Electrek, and many others who have published their reviews on YouTube. You can read electric bike reviews on any of those sites. Additionally, we are now supporting an independent network of e-bike owners offering their bikes for demos. Learn more about e-bike demos here Locations

What can I expect ordering a bike from Ride1Up? minus plus

This article will explain all about what to expect when ordering an electric bike from us. Ordering With Us

Can I upgrade the cruiser's battery? minus plus

Unfortunately, the 15ah battery pack is the largest available that will fit this cruiser electric bike frame. The e-bike battery provides a range of 30-50 miles on a single charge.

Can I switch the electric bike handlebars to another model? minus plus

No, you cannot switch the handlebars on our cruisers. The variations you see on the site are the only options we have for our electric bikes.

Can you ship to _______? minus plus

We only ship our electric bikes within North America. The Continental United States is FREE. Shipping to Canada is $400. Currently, not shipping to Hawaii. We are not responsible for any additional tariffs charged by your local government which often times applied after importing ebikes. Unfortunately, we are not able to ship our electric bikes directly to Europe or Alaska at this time. You can use a shipping forwarder like ShopUsa.com to reach your country.

Are the cruiser electric bikes water-proof? minus plus

The electric bikes are not water-proof, they are water-resistant, rated IP-65. While we do not recommend leaving the ebikes out in the rain or riding in the rain or other hazardous conditions due to personal safety, the electric bikes can handle water exposure. Leaving your e-bike in the rain or other hazardous conditions could shorten the lifespan of the electric bike.

I've had the Cafe Cruiser a little over a month and have logged in about a 150 miles. I'm loving it so far. I purchased it in Latte Gloss with the step over frame. I've ridden mostly on streets and concrete or dirt paths. Some things I like about it are the comfort, stability, performance, looks/styling, battery range, built in rear rack, hydraulic brakes, Shimano 8 speed derailleur, lights, metal fenders, swept back handlebars, 26x3 tires and the simple controller. This is a large bike with a long wheelbase but still weighs in at only 65 lbs. Ride1Up did not have to add a lot of the features they included but they did anyway which makes this is a great bike at a great value without skimping on the quality or style. A lot of thought also went into the shipping and ease of diy assembly of this bike. I would highly recommend this bike!

I am really happy with this purchase. The bike is super comfortable and is working well. I am a little worried about how hot the charger box gets when charging, but I am just not leaving it unattended while charging. Other than that, the bike is really amazing. The lights work well at dusk/night and wow the seat is so comfortable!
