Love the bike! I got the Full Suspension and use it almost daily. Everything about this bike is great but there 2 issues I really dislike. One is the 4pin charger connector to the battery. I hate that it isn't a normal barrel connector. I wanted to purchase a smart charger to limit my battery to charging to 80% or 90%, not the full 100%. Really wanted this for battery maintenance and longer life. I cannot due to this 4pin plug. And the second issue is the battery indicator on the battery AND the one on the main display. Both are misleading and cause confusion. I'm not sure if this is an ebike thing. I own an electric motorcycle and an electric car. They don't suffer from this issue. The problem is, the battery may be down to 2 bars... i stop for coffee, get back on, and it reads 5 bars. Almost like it magically charged itself faster than the provided charger!? Same with the indicator on the battery. It may read 3 bars, I remove it from the bike, carry the battery to its charger, press the button , and says its full again!? It's really annoying and frustrating not having an accurate reading. Even with those issues, I love this bike. If you are willing to let those 2 things go, I would recommend It to anyone.

The problem with the Vorsa charger is the two data pins. For whatever reason, the battery will not charge if the data pins are not connected. The two data wires are absurdly tiny which makes them prone to breakage as the DC cable is folded and unfolded before and after use.

When one or both data wires inevitably break after not many uses the battery will fail to charge because the data connection between the charger and battery is severed.

I’ve had my bike for two years now and have to replace the charger twice already. I know Ride1Up doesn’t make the chargers but they should offer a product that is better. The second charger only lasted about 100 miles of riding.

My charger for my 700 series lasted 4 years and failed. I store the charger loosely in a zipped bag, it is always indoors where I charge my battery, I’ve used it 40-45 times, I never charge to 100% and unplug the battery promptly.

It works, but the charger is fragile. I have dropped it twice, unfortunately, and the charger plastic box is nearly completely shattered.

    Ride1up, use better plastic please.

My bike arrived circa 9/15/2024, and the Phyllion Class 2 Battery charger stopped working on 9/8/2025, and basically Customer Service was anything but helpful, just said to pay $40 for a new one. Amazing they have little to no understanding, and I am a weekend rider at best, like 6 miles total. Buyer beware!
