I thought at first I would want a throttle. This bike doesn't have one, and I don't regret it. You get to decide how much work you get to do. Pick turbo setting if you are feeling lazy, or just need the speed. It's a balance with range. Normally I select about 30 percent boost, it allows me to ride around 22 mph, and gets about 35 miles of range. Very happy with this bike. I can go out for a short 50 minute ride and easily cover 12 miles or so of dirt trails/roads. This really changed how far I can go. Otherwise for same time spent riding, my regular mountain bike I could only go 4ish miles.

Great bike for the price point ! Unfortunately you can't get one anymore, I was fortunate to get mine. Added riser bars, new saddle, suspension seat post and a rear rack to personalize mine. So far so good! Also would recommend adding tannus armor tire liners, I had a flat right out of the box and my first ride.

I was considering this bike when it was full price, so when the price dropped I grabbed it immediately. It rides great, has great power. The motor is super quiet. I only have a few complaints but believe me they are minor. Brose in it's infinite wisdom decided that you can no longer turn off the headlight. This is ridiculous but not a ride1up issue. Hopefully they fix that in a software up date. Also the seat was a little small and hard for my liking. Now I am a 250 lb power lifter so it's not surprising. Most people change seats on bikes anyway. I made a few changes and additions, but these are all to personalize the bike for me, in no way was there anything wrong how it came. I added a suspension seat post, I changed the handlebar riser to bring handle bars up just a tad, and I added a triangle frame bag for some storage. For the price you cannot beat this bike. I am coming from a 4" fat tire ebike to this and will not be going back.

The whole process of ordering and assembling was super smooth. Everything worked right from the start, no need to make adjustments. Bravo! And I’m loving the mid drive motor!

Both bikes were shipped on time and seem to be great quality.

The bike is great! Gears work perfectly as well as battery. Went ahead and protected the exterior paint as its location close to the ground already got scratched. Overall very happy! Thanks

6ft tall 190lbs large fits me great
Too bad this bike was discontinued as it is incredibly fun to ride and durable. I have 300 miles of mostly trail and off-road riding (4WD roads) throughout Colorado. The bike has handled everything I have thrown at it. Bring back the Prodigy XC!
Love the bike, rides well!
We love the bike! Amazing quality, fast delivery and what a fun bike to ride!

The prodigy xc was exactly as expected. First the negative. I had to replace the seat. It is a hard seat. I wound up having to stand for much of the initial rides. As for the ride, I was very pleased withe the brose motor. I am amazed at how much torque it has. Climbing hills is not a challenge. The brakes are excellent on dirt or paths. Some of my rides cover 40-50 miles and I am happy to say that even if the battery gets exhausted, I can still ride just like a regular bike. Also, I really like the headlight. It is bright enough for my rides which for the most part begin in the dark. I know this bike has been discontinued. Too bad. I live in Tucson and will try climbing mount lemon when it gets a bit warmer. Probably in tour and sports mode. That ride will really test the battery and range. I can hardly wait

Rode this bike almost daily for over a year and loved it so much that we bought a second one for my wife!
This bike is a stand-out in terms of torque (90nm), battery/range (35+ miles), and top speed (28 mph).
If Ride1Up made a version with full-suspension and a drop-post, we’d buy that in a second!
