What Makes a Premium Mid-Drive Different?
Not all mid-drive motors are created equal.
A premium mid-drive is about more than where the motor sits on the bike. The motor, drivetrain, frame, and software all have to work together to deliver a ride that feels natural, responsive, and controlled.
That’s where systems like Brose stand apart. Built in Germany with years of investment in motor technology and ride refinement, the Brose mid-drive is designed to respond to how you ride rather than simply adding power from the wheel. And because the motor drives the bike through the drivetrain, it can deliver a more connected, bike-like ride across changing terrain and riding conditions.
With the Prodigy V2 Eco, we’re making that premium mid-drive experience more accessible.
The same Brose mid-drive. At $1,295.
At the heart of the Prodigy v2 Eco is the same Brose 90Nm mid-drive motor found on the Prodigy v2.
Rather than changing the motor, we focused on making the components around it more accessible. The result is a capable mid-drive e-bike starting at just $1,295.
And because the motor works through the bike’s drivetrain, the ride feels natural and responsive, with assistance that works with your pedaling rather than simply pushing the bike from the wheel.
Built for a more comfortable ride.
Most rides aren’t on perfect pavement. There are cracked bike lanes, gravel connectors, curb cuts and the path through the park that nobody repaves. The Prodigy v2 Eco is built for that.
Adjustable stem. Set your riding position how you like it. Go more upright for a relaxed cruise or lower for a sportier commute. A few minutes with a wrench and it fits you, not the average rider.
Spring-loaded saddle. It absorbs the small, constant hits (seams, cracks, rough patches) that wear you out over a longer ride.
Suspension fork. Front suspension that smooths out rough roads and paths. It’s simple, durable and low-maintenance, with no pressures to check and nothing to pump up before a ride.
