Meet the Portola 02
Two versions. One folding platform. Built for whatever the week throws at you.
The Folding Ebike That Doesn’t Compromise
Folding ebikes are supposed to make life easier. So why should you have to give up power, range, or the ability to carry what you actually need?
The Portola 02 was built around a simple idea: a folding ebike should be easy to store without feeling like a smaller bike when you’re riding it.
So we gave it the power to climb, the battery to go farther, the rack capacity to carry real cargo, and the technology to make the ride feel more natural. Then we put it all on a folding frame that can still fit into the spaces where a full-size ebike can’t.
And because not every rider needs the same thing, there are two ways to get it.
Portola 02
Starts at $995
The full-utility version.
With a 750W motor, and 150 lb-rated rear rack, integrated tail-lights and alloy fenders, the Portola 02 is built for riders who want their ebike to handle the daily workload.
Commute to work. Pick up groceries. Load the rack. Take the long way home. Fold it up when you’re done.
Best for: daily commuting, longer rides, carrying cargo, passenger riding and riders who want maximum range and utility.
Portola Lite
Starts at $895
The lighter way to ride.
The Portola 02 Lite keeps the same folding platform, 750W motor, hydraulic brakes, and 8-speed drivetrain, but drops the weight to 58 lbs with a smaller 10Ah battery.
Five pounds might not sound like much until you’re carrying your bike up three flights of stairs, lifting it into a trunk, or moving it around a small apartment.
Best for: easier lifting, compact storage, shorter trips, and riders who prioritize portability.
Powered by Intui-Drive
The Portola 02’s biggest upgrade isn’t something you can see from across the street.
It’s how the bike responds underneath you.
The Portola 02 uses Intui-Drive, our dual-sensor system combining torque and cadence sensors powered by MIVICE. A cadence sensor knows when you’re pedaling. A torque sensor knows how hard you’re pedaling. That difference matters.
Push harder up a hill and the motor responds with more assistance. Ease off approaching a stop and the bike responds with you.
Instead of feeling like you’re simply turning the motor on and off, the Portola 02 feels more connected to your effort. Behind it sits a 750W AKM hub motor putting out 90Nm of torque. Here’s the part that doesn’t show up on a spec sheet: on 20″ wheels, that torque has less work to do than it would on a full-size bike. Smaller wheel, shorter lever, steeper hills stop being a decision you make at the bottom.
DETAILS YOU NOTICE EVERYDAY

The color display gives you your ride information at a glance, while iOS Find My integration gives you another way to keep track of your bike.
And with a built-in USB-C port, your phone doesn’t have to run out of battery halfway through the ride.

Integrated rear turn signals let you signal without taking your hand off the bars. (Portola 02 only)
A 100 Lux headlight helps light the road ahead. The seat post mounted rear brake light gets brighter when you brake.

With 750W of power and 90Nm of torque, the Portola 02 delivers strong, responsive assistance for hills, heavier loads, and everyday riding, while keeping the ride impressively quiet.
