Put the new V3 together carefully watching the video and reading all instructions. To be honest the hardest part was positioning and tightening the small bolt holding the front mud guard. I eventually turned the bike upside down on a yoga mat and completed it with ease. Checked all gear operations as instructed before going on a test ride. Performance was great! Realy had a great ride felt good on the road despite slightly heavier than expected. Took my usual route and completed it much faster than normal But still feeling I rode hard. The fasted I ever made it up the hill and my drive way. Definitely brought a smile to my face and am very glad I waited for the V3 after reviewing all the other alternatives.

I actually love my new bike! I take it on a commuter train daily. It’s easy to get on and off the train. The gearing is nice and I like the electric assist options. The bike is light enough to keep the assist off on the flats but easy to flip on when riding the hills of Seattle. My husband and I were able to assemble the bike in a very short time so I could take it out since I was so excited! My only hope would be that they would offer replacement sized stems to help with the fit of the bike so I am not reaching too far. My local bike shops have options but I’d like to keep the routing of the wires clean and hidden. I’m still looking for a good option.

This is my first Ebike. Bought Med step thru for my wife (5’7″). Large for me (5’11”). Both fit well. My step over is a bit high, but nothing I can’t handle. Bikes were easy to put together. Mine had a bent brake rotor. R1U shipped a new one out within a week. Support is great. We’ve put about 120 hours on so far. Love them! Farthest we’ve gone is 30 miles on eco (60% of trip) and boost (40%). Still had about 35% battery capacity left. Bikes are stylish and well built. Would buy again!

How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. I got the medium Roadster V3. I am 5’4” and the bike is a tad big for me but with some adjustments it’s better. Still looking for a shorter stem to help with reach.
Nice upgrade from the V2. Cadence system more intuitive. Feels more natural. Upgraded tires and hydraulic brakes! Belt drive smooth. Foot pedals replaced from original.

Wife very happy can do hills again at 65.

Fyi R1up: creating a specific section for reviewers to comment on sizing without specifying the frame size they’re reviewing is, like, super frustrating. There’s a ton of really helpful information here that’s totally useless because we have no idea what frame size they’re talking about.
