I have the previous Ride1Up Roadster V2. It is a gorgeous bike. Fit and finish are awesome. The hub motor has plenty of power. As a bike builder I could not resist upgrading and personalizing it for my taste. Upgrades include FSA SL-K all carbon handlebar/stem/cranks (with some modifications) and titanium pedals. I also swapped to 60mm carbon wheels, and built the rear wheel myself. The original bike weighed in about 32 pounds, but mine is now a svelte 27 pounds :)

I've put 150 miles on this bike since receiving it in October - not a lot, but enough to know if I like it or not - and I can confidently say: I like it. ;) it's a beautiful machine, but it performs very well, too. in eco mode, I can do everything my faster, fitter friends can do without even breaking a sweat. today I rode 45 miles in eco the entire time and still had 36% battery when I got home. that's impressive! it's sturdy yet nimble and easy to maneuver. it's such a a blast to ride and was easy for my bike mechanic partner to put together. I did replace the chain, pedals, and saddle, but the stock options were perfectly fine. the only thing I don't like about it is the front light. it's so bright that oncoming cyclists complain to me about it (got a "that light is brutal, man" complaint from one guy tonight). I wish it had settings so it could be dimmer or brighter. the lack of attachment points/nipples is kind of a bummer too but I can live with it. I love this bike and can't wait to ride it much more when the weather is better!

Have had the Gravel V2 for a couple of months now and 800 miles. So far so good. Minor adjustments on assembly such as the rear wheel slightly out of true as delivered and installed and rear view mirror included in acessory package being flimsy plastic. It been a joy to ride. Only two service options within 50 miles of Silicon Valley though.

I enjoy the Roadster V3 immensely. By no means am I mechanically unskilled, but my experience prepping the bike from box to road was extraordinary. I'll admit I had some trepidation beforehand. The Ride1Up YouTube videos were awesome and the web site support was spot on. My pre-purchase research paid off and the V3 has not disappointed me in any way. I particularly value the looks of the V3 and the fact it stylistically avoids being an e-bike "tank". It's slim and light. It fits perfectly on our 2-bike Saris Freedom carrier and is well within weight limitations with my wife's heavier Townie Electra pedal cruiser. I'm a 5'9" older rider and the low step medium frame is perfect. Many friends who've seen the bike are also impressed, especially with the quality of hydraulic brakes and the quality/operation of the 10 speed chain drive. As a retired educator, the Ride1Up Roadster V3 gets an A++

I have been wanting a Roadster since V1 was introduced but it didn't check all of the boxes I needed it to so I bought a 500 Series bike instead. (I really like the 500 series bike.) The Roadster V2 Gravel was very close to giving me everything I wanted but not enough to buy one. V3 (10 speed) has been the bike I was waiting for in that it has hydraulic disc brakes, 10 speed rear, larger watt motor (500 from 350), torque sensor vs cadence and lastly a great price. (It also has a water bottle attachment point which I missed greatly on the 500 Series.) I live in the mountains of NC and the gearing is fantastic, the motor is strong and the bike is very light. (Especially versus the 500 series.) The torque sensor makes the power delivery soooo smooth. I have not done 100-0% range test but I did about 30 miles and still have over 30% of battery so I think if you are pedaling the range is easily 40 + miles. I really can't say enough about how nice this bike is as far as specs, looks and price. I had a minor issue with a loose screw on headlight bracket and my experience with support team was awesome. The Roadster V3 has really evolved into a fantastic quality , feature rich e-bike. Another great job/bike Ride1up!

I’ve gotten to ride the bike only twice with each trip less than 5 miles. The rides were comfortable and smooth on the bumpy roads in East Austin even with no shocks. The different assist levels provided power as expected, so that I was able to get the boost when I needed to get to my destination. The assist came in about a half second into pedal push, and the torque sensor worked well.
I bought the bike to run quick errands without having to take the car. I may use it at times for my longer rides that I normally take on a hybrid bike, but I will need to ride it on my regular bike trail to see if the single speed motor and gear ratio will work with my regular pedal cadence.
How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. Step-thru frame. I thought the handlebar was too wide, so I replaced it with a shorter one which made the turns a little more responsive.

I got the smaller size. At 5'7" it fit me just right. The frame is a tad bit tall for me, but fits and looks great.

I'm 5' 9", a woman, with a long torso and average legs, and the size small fits very nicely.
After riding this bike HARD, I am happy to keep it in my Stable of bikes
So I have the older gravel roadster. I am 5ft7 and have the "medium" size I believe. I swapped the stem for a shorter one and swapped out the handlebars as well with some that suited me more. Changed out the grips, and seat and pedals. These are touch points that I change on all of my bikes. I love this bike. It is stable and nimble. It is easy to carry on the back of my car with a trunk mount carrier and the tires on this gravel roadster are the WTB's and they are comfortable, grippy and tough. I didnt want a throttle but after having one I am happy to have it. When I get done with a longer ride and encounter a hill, it is nice to get a jump start by hitting the throttle and then upping the power level and peddling. It is also nice to get a jumpstart from a dead stop at a light. I use the first pedal assist for fitness and the other levels when I just need to go FAST. It is fast. I really like this bike and I am happy to endorse it. Like I said, It is now a part of my stable of bikes and that stable of bikes has to be trusty and dependable. I have the belt drive and enjoy not having to worry about a chain. This is a really solid bike!

How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. Would prefer an adjustable seat height capability. Otherwise spot on
