Belt snapped after one month of commuting to work. It is about a 10 minute bike...

My Roadster v2 has been great -- the belt, not so much. Much like a few other reviewers, mine also snapped after less than 150 miles.

My belt also broke in less than 150 miles (I have already sent a message to your customer support team), but before that, the bike has been great.

I’m sure the 2 belts will be fine, but couldn’t you have just gone with a standard gates belt? My original belt is still going strong.

What size (if applicable to your purchase) did you purchase and how did it fit you? : This was for the original V2 bike.

The top trans belts are good belts, the gates system is used on the Gravel edition of the Roadster V2.

We are very sorry to hear that. If set to the proper tension the belt will last much longer. Our support team will reach out to you.

Belt drive is like a clockwork breaking after some 2800 and 3300 mi. Fortunately, I had a spare.
Still, it lasts twice as long as a chain with little maintenance and no oily pants.
A Carbon belt drive may last longer, but the price to pay would be 15% faster paddling with 62/22 for the gravel bike rather than 64/20. Maybe, ride1up thinks about a 70/22 Carbon option ?
