The only problems I've had is that the back wheel's inner tube has gotten punctured twice already, but of course that's probably the first thing you'd want to break! I also live in a college town with lots of broken glass on the roads, so that's to be expected with any bike. Other than that, the bike is absolutely phenomenal. It punches way out of its price range - it feels like a $2500+ bike for only a little over half the price. Don't be intimidated by the need to assemble it yourself, the most difficult parts like the derailleur and motor are all pre-assembled, and you'll want to be somewhat familiar with the assembly if you're getting a bike this expensive anyway. And if you're debating whether the torque sensor is worth it, it really is. You will be glad if you go with this bike. Also a tip for anyone looking at buying this bike - make sure you have a crescent wrench!!! You will need a 13mm wrench to remove the back wheel if you need to replace the tube, and you will need a wrench (unsure what size) to tighten the crank arm during assembly.

I spent hours reviewing different e-bikes before making the purchase. My Lmt’d v2 arrived within 3 days of ordering and showed up packed well, with no damage. I ordered a bike stand and watched the assembly and post assembly videos before the bike arrived, which made putting the bike together pretty easy with only minor adjustments needed. I know now how to center disc brakes, change a flat on the rear tire, and set and index my gears following links and videos from Ride1Up. Thanks for the info. The ride is excellent, 117 miles so far on shorter test rides, but I love the feel and handling of this bike. The reviews I watched on YouTube all held true for my experience so far. I’m very happy with this bike and I would/have recommend to family and friends.

Outstanding I am over the top pleased with my purchase. I actually purchased both a Limited V2 and a Turris. We have not had much time to put a lot of miles on them, but they both are Awesome! Assembly was very straight forward and actually an enjoyable process. If you are in the market for an ebike, go for a Ride 1 Up,

LOVE the bike, great power, excellent shifting, love the throttle, goes up the steepest hills with no problem, battery easy to take off and on and makes bike much lighter so you can load on normal bike rack. Shock is ok, doesn't do much. Seat is comfortable and easy to adjust height. We removed fenders because didn't like the noise of them rattling. Bike tire tube's on 1 bike were defective but Ride 1 up very good to deal with and responded quickly and fairly. I would definitely recommend these bikes !

Both bikes came adequately packaged with no damage either mechanically or cosmetic. Nice! although those tires took a little while to come back to original shape. The second (black) bike's rear wheel was out of true with some VERY loose spokes but luckily I can true wheels and had the tools...a few minutes on the truing stand has seemed to fix it. While both bike's derailleurs were surprisingly very well tuned, the second bike's shifter was installed pressing against the brake lever such that the trigger was binding and inop. Once it was rotated away everything was fine. Brakes were also surprisingly very well adjusted, with just a little fine tuning needed on aligning the front calipers to prevent rubbing. I noticed on both bikes that the headlight's "lower mounting arm" was installed backwards (There is a recess for the mounting hardware on one side and the other side is flat which should mount against the fender tab. Easy fix to flip around. In terms of "fit and finish", both were superb! The matte surface is quite attractive and appears durable. I will note that on the second bike (recurring theme here?) there were a few of the mounting bosses that had to be chased with a tap due to paint ingress. Also one of the bottle cage screws, (you guessed it..second bike) was bent and was a bitch to get out. Luckily the threads weren't damaged too bad and were easily cleaned up with a tap. All in all I was VERY pleasantly surprised at the ease of the final assembly needed, the tools provided, and the excellent support assembly instructions and videos. (While I fall into the category of fairly experienced in bike maintenance and have all of the tools, you folks have made it about as foolproof as possible for customers without the experience.) BTW, the tools that were provided were again quite a surprise. Generally tools that are supplied for assembly are usually junk. Your stuff was actually pretty decent quality..although I have allen wrenches coming out of my ears now..and the beanies..super nice touch! Added a couple of Topeak racks which fit very well (don't have to use their "disc" mounting versions..regular mount works just fine) and upgraded the pedals to some lightweight nylon MTB style which provide better shoe contact than the "W's" provided, although the OEM ones are more than adequate.

I finally decided on what my first e-bike was going to be, and I'm glad I chose the LMT'D. I mainly got it for the fact that it has a torque sensor, but the other features are satisfactory. The upright seating position, step through frame, and swept back handlebars make this an excellent commuter bike. The throttle will keep me around 20mph easily. As for the pedal assist, I can keep it around 25mph pedaling comfortably, but with a little more hard pedaling I can get up to that 28mph top speed, and even a little more with some tail wind. While I'm not a big fan of derailleurs, the Shimano Altus is quick and snappy with the shifting. The gears come in handy quite a lot with hill climbing, which I should mention this bike is a hill climbing beast. On the lowest gear on the highest pedal assist, this thing handles even the steepest hills in my town, and there are a lot of hills here. As of now I use this bike for daily commuting to work and back. It does exactly what it needs to and it's super fun to ride. Thankfully, it is also a bit lighter than most other e-bikes, meaning that I can get this up and down the stairs in my apartment complex. Some things to note: The assembly is a bit tricky and time consuming. Be prepared for it, make sure to watch Ride1Up's video. The lock nut for the chain ring is counterclockwise, and it comes with a 1/2inch driver tool, which is handy. Make sure to do some setting up with the derailleur within your first few rides to make sure that it's shifting quickly and not clanking or scratching while you pedal. Check the box for any loose screws; I ended up finding the screw for the screen mount after searching the box for any missing parts. I willing gave up having a pre installed rack and integrated taillight so I could have a torque sensor, but I say it's a fair compromise for the price. I can always get the rack Ride1Up sells for it afterwards. If you want a torque sensor e-bike, this is the one to get. If you don't mind the cadence sensor and you want the rack and taillight, Ride1Up also sells the 700 Series bike for the same price. Overall, the bike is awesome. It's fast, fun, climbs hills, and it's great for commuting. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone that wants a powerful e-bike with a torque sensor.

Excellent choice for us–quite pleased overall. Very good support via phone with R1U before purchasing. This bicycle is very solid, very quiet motor, plenty of power and lots of adjustment options in the display. 2.4″ tires & adj front suspension (spring) fork make for a comfortable ride. I have lots of experience with bike assembly & special tools/workstand so build not difficult, went slowly & followed printed guidance & very good assembly video online. I added tire liners to help reduce puncture risk. Some buyers might consider taking the whole package to a LBS to be assembled though (neighbors bought a different R1U model & did that very thing with great success). Saddle shape fine but firm so we’ll change that soon. Components overall very solid, smooth shifting once adjusted. I chose to ‘bed’ the hydraulic brakes. Throttle works well, so much power from pedal assist you prob won’t use it much other than hills. Yes I’d gladly buy another & am considering other models within their lineup to add to the stable. We also own a good competitor’s model which is quite similar but the R1U has much quieter motor.
How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. good fit for 3 of us (appros 5'7") . Taller riders will still be comfortable but might consider different bars/stem/seat rearward adjustment to stretch out a bit.
Great bike. Comfortable, fast and easy to ride. Excellent value for money. This is my 6th ride 1 up bike. Couldn’t be happier.
Solid Bike. Easy to assemble. The only surprise was a loose valve stem and one loose screw in the box. The torque sensor is amazingly transparent. Riding the bike is an instant smile.

Great bike. My LMT’D V2 shipped with a couple factory issues and I took it to a local bike shop which fixed them and gave me an itemized invoice. Presented this to ride1up and they had no problem compensating the cost- fast and easy customer support. The bike itself is great, rides smooth and super fast in class 3. I’ve added a rear rack and switched out the grips and saddle to something a little more comfortable for me. Overall, the stock components are good quality and better than my old Aventon Pace 500 (except I miss the grips). I really like the sleek, low profile fenders that are great in the rain.
How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. At 5'7" it felt slightly big but I've played around with handlebar angle and seat height and angles and I think it's pretty comfortable. My one complaint is I feel the pedals are too far behind me causing a midfoot grip. The seat is as far back as it can go so I need to do a few more adjustments as I think this is probably an easy fix. Have to check the crank length as maybe that might be the culprit.
It’s great

I couldn’t be happier with this bike. Got an E-bike to help with knee rehab and wanted something with good power. So far I have 100 miles on the bike and no issues to speak of. I would highly recommend as a good all around E-bike option.
How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. Bike fits well. Might be a bit more comfortable if the handle bars were a touch higher. I'm 5"11" and got the ST version.
