FAQ'S

minus plus
Can I test ride a bike? minus plus

We are a direct-to-consumer electric cruiser bike company both in pricing and strategy. You will generally pay a premium for the ability to test ride an electric bike through a dealer. However, our electric bikes have been thoroughly tested by top reviewers such as Electric Bike Review, Electric Bike Report, Cycling Weekly, Clean Technica, Electrek, and many others who have published their reviews on YouTube. You can read electric bike reviews on any of those sites. Additionally, we are now supporting an independent network of e-bike owners offering their bikes for demos. What can I expect ordering a bike from Ride1Up? minus plus

This article will explain all about what to expect when ordering an electric bike from us. Ordering With Us

Can I upgrade the cruiser's battery? minus plus

Unfortunately, the 15ah battery pack is the largest available that will fit this cruiser electric bike frame. The e-bike battery provides a range of 30-50 miles on a single charge.

Can I switch the electric bike handlebars to another model? minus plus

No, you cannot switch the handlebars on our cruisers. The variations you see on the site are the only options we have for our electric bikes.

Can you ship to _______? minus plus

We only ship within the US and Canada. The contiguous United States is FREE. Shipping to Canada is $400. Currently, not shipping to Hawaii. We are not responsible for any additional tariffs charged by your local government which often times applied after importing ebikes. Unfortunately, we are not able to ship our electric bikes directly to Europe or Alaska at this time. You can use a shipping forwarder like ShopUsa.com to reach your country.

Are the cruiser electric bikes water-proof? minus plus

The electric bikes are not water-proof, they are water-resistant, rated IP-65. While we do not recommend leaving the ebikes out in the rain or riding in the rain or other hazardous conditions due to personal safety, the electric bikes can handle water exposure. Leaving your e-bike in the rain or other hazardous conditions could shorten the lifespan of the electric bike.

Bought 2 Cafe Cruisers for my wife and myself. We couldn’t be happier with these e-bikes. Their Customer service is outstanding as well. I had a small issue with one of our battery chargers, they replaced it and it was delivered in only a couple days. Thank you Ride1Up!

I really like the bike,my first electric and does take some getting use to..I did have an issue with a friction rub on the rack left rear. Looked like the cardboard packaging rubbing on the rack removed paint from the rack. I called cust. Serv. And you do not have touch up paint. So I located a company and bought some. Very costly. For what the bike cost it should have been in excellent condition. This was not caused by the freight co. This was a result of improper packaging. I know this happens but I do believe you should carry touch up paint . If you'd like you could offer to cover half the cost $34.00.. the bike is good quality and rides great, comfortable, the pedal assist is very nice and at 71yrs.that is a welcome feature. If I look to buy another I will look at Ride1up. Thank you .take care.Ken Britzman

I really love this bike. I’ve had it for two weeks. I already have 300 miles on it. I’m 5 foot 10 and the bike fits me perfect. The combination of the tires and the frame design the bike make it very comfortable. Something you can ride on all day long, the only complaint that I have is that the motor is somewhat noisy when compared to other bicycles specially when it’s in pedal assist mode. Not sure if it’s just mine or if other bikes do the same thing other than that, I really enjoy it.

Best bike for the money and was not disappointed when I got it. I was riding within 20 minutes of unboxing it. Had a defect in the headlight and emailed them, had a replacement out THAT DAY, no hassle. Great customer service with quality parts on their product.

Only criticism is to have a stem extension for the handlebars for tall people. That being said, I absolutely love my Ride1up bike. I ride the NCR trail every weekend. 20 to 30 miles weather permitting. Love your product!
