FAQ's

How long does it take to ship?
The boards are in stock now and ship same day if ordered M-F before 12pm PST. Our free delivery timeline is approximately 2 days on the West coast, 5-7 days on the east coast.
Is there a warranty or return policy?
Yes. We offer a 30-day full refund trial period. If you are unsatisfied, ship it back. Additionally, we cover all boards with a 6-month warranty. Please contact us should you experience an error with our product or software that is not due to user error. This warranty and return period is not valid on certain sale purchases.
What is the weight limit on the board?
We recommend a maximum weight of no more than 250lbs. However, no matter the rider weight, the deck can snap or be compromised if not used correctly. Please do not drop off high ledges with the board.
Is the board available internationally?
It is available in North America only.
Can the wheels be replaced
YES, and we suggest buying a replacement pack of 4 wheels. Available for $26, select your favorite color.
Is the board waterproof?
The boards are water-resistant, but not waterproof. Both decks are sealed, but do not submerge the boards in water. Are the batteries swappable?
Yes (except on the Carbon fiber board, battery replacement takes much longer.) Although there are 6 screws to remove and adhesive. Turn of the board, unscrew the 6 screws holding the battery case using the provided tool, unplug the battery, carefully pry off the case.
How long does it take to charge?
Charging time is around 3 hours for a full charge.
Why are there less reviews than the bikes?
Our electric longboards were only released to the public in mid-February 2019, but we are building our reputation with the same principles as our bikes. Quality and happy customers come first.

. I bought The Maple drop through board about 8 months ago I had issues with it in the beginning the really cool thing was their customer service was excellent and supporting my needs as well as getting my board back on the road Kevin was a really good dude and help me out greatly The picture I’m showing you is of an accident I had on this board I was bombing down a Hill that I normally bomb down and for no reason with a fully charged remote and a fully charged Deck Battery the remote disconnected from the board completely at 25 miles per hour. WTF one up this board is not that old and this is the 2nd time the remote totally dropped from the board I literally could of killed myself since I was bombing down a Hill with traffic at the end you guys do sell cheap boards but it’s for a reason because it’s cheap merchandise you’re selling to the public I am very and unpleased with your quality!!!! I will never ride this board ever again unfortunately I already broke my ankle once due to my mishap on a sidewalk but this time the 2nd time that’s on you , there is no way a Bluetooth controller next to the deck should disconnect and leave me rolling down a Hill at 25 miles an hour with no breaks I had to bail off the board to save my life thanks a lot guys!!!!!

Extremely satisfied! So much fun it feels like it should be illegal. I’m doing 12 mile rides at a thrilling pace with little to no sag and battery to spare. Haven’t drained it to zero but I’m confident it would do 16 miles real world no problem. I’m 175 lbs. Right up relatively steep hills with ease. Plenty of torque and acceleration. As for top speed, wear a helmet, it jams.

I feel like I’m in the future on this thing. Like I know a secret. The experience is like snowboarding with no need to purchase a ticket or wait in any lines. Just hit the gas and go right back up the hill. Or like traditional skateboarding around but everywhere you go is downhill. You can probably tell this is my first eskate but I did quite a bit of research and after experiencing the real world performance of this board, I’m confident its the best elongboard choice available at this price point.

I’ve done well over 100 miles and its running good as new. Wheels are in good shape and I torture them with the carving.

    Extremely fast shipping.

    Look no further.

I use this as a commuter board on campus at UNLV. A decent chunk of students here use scooters or long boards since the campus can be almost a mile end to end depending on your classes. A decent chunk of students that do have long boards, have electric ones of varying other brands. By far compared to a majority of those with electric long boards, THIS IS THE QUIETEST. Other than the wheels going over sidewalk sections, pebbles, and the usual wheel noises and the faintest high pitch whine, this thing is almost silent compared to other boards that you can hear whining down the street. (That belt drive whine, so far i havnt seen anyone else with hub drives)
The low ride and CARVABILITY in between throngs of students is awesome and easy considering im lugging around a 35-40 lb backpack as well.
My only 2 complaints which is the reason for the 4 instead of 5 is the controller/brake sensitivity is a bit delayed and harder to ease into compared to other electric boards. A few times ive misjudged and the brakes bit hard and ive been tossed forward, backpack in tow.
The second, which im kinda upset about (but not mad) is that the washers on the hardware are smaller than other hardware ive seen and the increased pressure on a smaller spot already started causing cracking/buckling of a few layers near one screw on the front truck. I shoudve used my common sense and swapped them out immediately. I’ve been long boarding a little more than 5 years going thru a few boards with this problem eventually happening after years, and am slightly disappointed that its only happened within the first 2 months.

Little bummed out about this, and i suspect this is why the board is on sale with no warranty due to build quality of the deck.

Other than that this is a great board for the price.

It was my first time riding an electric skateboard. I fell on my butt several times but soon I got the hang of it. I’ve been riding for 3 days now and it’s very smooth and the carving is the best part. Although I had some trouble with the speed. I was going 13 mph and all of a sudden the speed went down to 7. I pulled the remote trigger down then back up and I was going 13 mph again. I found that a bit weird but after that little incident I haven’t been having any trouble. The brakes however are great unless you’re going downhill. It’s hard to stop when going downhill. You should reconnect the remote with the board several times so the connection stays strong. The directions are written in the manual. I highly recommend this board for anyone especially beginners. Start off slow and you’ll get the hang of it. Also I recommend the company adds in a grip tape cleaner and then I’d consider this a full skateboard set. My board got dirty within a few days and I had to buy that tool from Amazon. It should be included.

This board is awesome! It carves great and is very smooth. Kevin is great to work with. I liked the Drop Thru better than the Bamboo Classic although if Ride1UP ever has a used Classic on sale they want to get rid of for cheap (Hint…Hint) I would buy it as it is a bit higher and goes over speed bumps and little obstacles a little better or my wifey can ride with me. I would take the Classic out on days where I go out on rougher terrain. I’m having so much fun on this board. I would definitely recommend it and the company and Kevin. If I’m ever in the market for an electric bike I wouldn’t even look elsewhere. Thank you very much Kevin and Ride1UP!!!!!

Hands down the best eboard out there. Dollar for dollar you can not beat this board. This board is super fast and super responsive. The acceleration and the braking are smooth as butter. And man this thing flies, not for the timid. I would buy this board again in a heart beat, and you should too. Super friendly and responsive customer service. Highly recommended.

After an initial shipping issue, I was a bit concerned with my purchase. However, Ride1Up resolved the issue quickly and I still recieved the board within a week of purchase.
Set up, if you can even really call it that, was as simple as it could be. Everything appeared to be high quality and after about 35 miles in two days, I can confirm that is indeed the case.
The board is fast and the range may be even better than they advertise. The area I live in is not flat and I am not a small guy, and there have been zero issues getting where I am going.
So far, I couldn’t be more impressed with the board or the customer service. Time will ultimately tell but for the time being I am more than happy to recommend this board.

This is my second electric skateboard another being very similar in price range to the first one I purchased and love. Very good quality and seems to be a great board. 22 miles the first two days and had an 11 mile ride this morning with battery left for another 3-4 miles id think.

Getting more comfortable with the board feel and controls and enjoying more and more each mile.

This is my first electric long board so I don’t have a direct comparison, but I can say it is an awesome performer for the money. I hit 26 MPH easily and the board felt incredibly stable at speed. It has great side to side carving and with the soft compound, larger wheels, and the flex of the deck it handles bumps quite well. The acceleration, and braking are very good as well. You just need to understand how the board reacts to the input from the controller. All in all I love this set up and I don’t think there is much that can compare in this price range. You get a stable board with high top speed with a range of 12 – 16 ish miles. That is very hard to beat for $550. Pick one up. You will not regret it.

Board arrived quickly. The deck has a serious delam along the middle two plys. After contacting ride1up I was given the choice of returning the whole setup (they said they would pay for shipping) or I could glue and clamp the deck and they would send me an $80 refund. I happily choose the refund route.
I’m fully enjoying the board. I’ve put on around 5-10 miles a day for the last 5 days.
The brakes are twitchy to start but they work well after you get used the sensitivity.
I am 220lbs and it can easily get me up mellow inclines. Top speed for me has been 26mph.
All in all a great board and support has been excellent.

I got this board about 1 month ago and let me tell you it’s a very fast board and looks great, the ride is smooth once you adjust the bushings at your liking. I love the board the only thing is the breaks are very sensitive, but it’s a good board.

I love the board it’s tons of fun. Carves great and feels stable. Charging takes around 4 hours which isn’t that bad considering the range you get from it.

My first ever ELECTRIC SKATEBOARD :O I reached out to Ride1up because I’ve been considering purchasing one for a while now – I commute/drive around A LOT but usually don’t go more than 8-12 miles away from home. More often than not, I’m just going to a local coffee shop or UC Irvine to study/work.

I had this board at the top of my list because it had the longest travel range out of all the boards I looked up (~19 mi). I actually haven’t maxed out the battery yet because 19 miles has been more than enough for me so far and the charger isn’t too bulky to carry around in my backpack – I just charge the board at the coffee shop while I work.

What REALLY impressed me about this board though is the intentionality in the design! The casing and build is super durable, yet slim in profile. Even the weight distribution from front to back is great and LOVE how the motors are encased in the back wheels! The wheels are a HUGE pro for me because I don’t need to worry about chains or belts getting caught or damaged 👍👍👍 They’re also really big, which makes the riding experience really smooth 😀

The ONLY concerns I have (which I’ve talked with them about and they’re fixing) are 1. the trucks come way too loose, you’ll need to tighten those for a stable ride and 2. the braking controls have a bit of a learning curve to them if you want to brake smoothly. There are a couple other minor things, but honestly they’re not really significant.
    .
I’ve used this board a good amount now and I’m VERY pleased with this product! For a new entrant into the electric board industry, Ride1up really exceeded expectations 👍💪

    Pros:
    -Really fun board.
-Lasts just a little longer than my meepo nls.
    -Its fast
-It takes off and brakes smooth (even on highest setting).
    -predictable acceleration and braking
    -Very smooth ride
    Cons:
-Battery life (doesnt last as long as id like it to)
-Hub motors getting really hot (I can only keep my hand on it for only a couple seconds after riding)
-Remote randomly cuts out (jerks the board and cuts off motors when curbs, curb lines, rocks or rough roads are hit)
-Long time to charge(3-5 hours on empty, can be a bit concerning if your visit at your destination is a short 1)
-Instruction manual (emphesises on safety of the board and not on how to use it.)
    Overall:
Great board for the price. There are some things I would like it to do but you cant ask for everything at this price point. Would i recommend it to a friend? Yes! It is a fun way to ride but wherever you’re going better be a longer visit than 3 hours.
