*Increased shipping demand nationwide has caused delays in tracking updates from Fedex and delays in shipping hubs. Shipping estimates are slightly delayed beyond the normal timelines.
Delivery time is dependent on your distance from Nevada (our warehouse location). We typically deliver in 2-3 days within the west coast and, or 4-7 days for the east coast.

Bike will arrive 85% assembled (electronics are pre-assembled). An assembly video is located on our support page. Front fork, front tire, seat, pedals, rack and fenders and crank arm need to be installed. Installation can be completed in 1-2 hours. However, it is recommended to use a bike mechanic when possible to check the bike prior to riding. Damages resulting from improper assembly are not covered by the warranty.

We only ship within North America. The Continental United States is FREE. Hawaii and Alaska is $275. Shipping to Mexico and Canada is $100. We are not responsible for any additional tariffs charged by your local government which often times applied after importing. Unfortunately, we are not able to ship our bikes directly to Europe. You can use a shipping forwarder like ShopUsa.com to reach your country.

The bikes are not water-proof, they are water-resistant, rated IP-65. While we do not recommend leaving the bikes out in the rain or riding in the rain or other hazardous conditions due to personal safety, the bikes can handle water exposure.

Amazing bike had a few minor problems with the front sprocket being bent causing the chain to slip in higher gears and the tire spokes needed to be adjusted. My bike also came with some minor scratches on the frame and a couple dents/scratches on the fenders. The battery life pretty decent if you don't just use the motor all the time. I think I may have preferred the step through a little more because i could fit larger water bottles to the frame as the too bar limits the size to small ones. Get a suspension seatpost your butt will thank you.

My wife and I both purchased the 700 series a couple of months ago. Assembly was reasonably easy but I ran into a snag with each bike that added a good 20 minutes to the process for each. On one, the conical spacer was stuck onto the the front fork post and required brute force (hammer and chisel, essentially) to knock it loose. On the other, getting the front fender aligned and a spaced properly took way too long. It seems that over time some of the hardware and parts have changed from when the instructions and instructional video were created, so some of the screws referenced don't match up exactly. However, what was provided certainly did the trick. I had both bikes checked out by a professional bike technician who gave them both a thumbs-up. I have to say, these bikes can take a beating. One of them was not properly secured on our hitch mount bike carrier and actually fell back off the carrier while moving at 65 mph. Fortunately, the wheel straps kept the back attached but it landed directly onto the end of the handlebar, which dragged along for 50 feet or so before I could get off the highway. Besides the end of the handlebar, grip and brake lever getting damaged, nothing else occurred and the bike remained rideable. My one complaint, however, it is that Ride1Up does not sell replacement parts directly. This is why I give them 4 stars instead of 5. When I inquired about parts I was told that I needed to purchase after-market replacements. And, while they provided a few Amazon links to get me started, I could not find the exact matching handlebar or grips. The link for the brake lever assembly was not for the one on the bike. Tektro, the brake manufacturer, does not sell direct to the public and it may be that model number is no longer available through them. I did find it through a Chinese distributor but can only purchase the entire two brake set including the calipers and cables, none of which I need. We have put about 175 miles on the bikes so far and really do enjoy the ride. The 750W motor has plenty of power. The batteries are giving use between 40 and 50 miles per charge, and we are usually using low to mid level PAS settings. We did change out the saddles to some Cloud 9 seats, although the original saddles are probably fine for younger, better padded butts. We have already recommended this bike to friends and strangers who have inquired.

So far so GOODDDD! Fast ..good range for leisure rides on paved roads with some having a slight inclines. 18 miles on one ride with battery @ 100% on PAS 4.

Great Bike, would highly recommend. Its on the heavy side so if lifting it for a car bike rack is going to be a problem, go with a 500 series or roadster.

I've posted two reviews on the website, both very preliminary because of just having 1) recieved the bike and put it together, and 2) another at about 100 miles. Both reviews I rated at 4 Stars because of that: simply not enough interface with the product at that time. I wrote that I would be back for a more comprehensive review at 500 miles, but I think it isn't necessary to wait that long. There is enough to say at this point that the 700XR is a solid, no-nonsense commuter machine that gets the job done, and then some. I say this especially after having gone to my LBS and looked at what they offer at substantially higher prices. I can buy a decent used pickup truck for what many E-bikes are going for. At twice the price, I fail to see where I get twice the value - or even 25% more performance and range. The hub motor seems to ge me up thjat long, steep hill three days in a row before I have to recharge, buty that;s still in the ball park of 24 miles, hauling the bik, plus me at 235lbs, and another 17lbs of gear and a cooler for lunch. It make no extraneous noises and never gets warm. All I have had to do was adjust three spokes on the rear wheel that got a little loose Ans so, I have upgraded my rating to 5 Stars - earlier than I had planned, but unless a wheel breaks, or the COntrol Unit goes t.u., and I have to wait a month ot get another one, I don't see many problems ahead. Anyone in the Greater Seattle area that would like to try this bike can probably reach me on my YouTube channel. Just type in OutnBacker/canoe sailing/canoe trimaran sailing, or something like that. Drop me a line and I'll getback to you and get you set up.

Great quality e-bike and excellent value! I only removed a star because the motor is advertised as 750 watt but that is max power with 500 watts sustained. Other motors in the market are 750 with a higher max output. But, given all of the features including fenders, lights and hydraulic brakes, i still highly recommend the 700 series!

So, after 70 miles, here's an updated form the first initial impression below. As I guessed, with my 235 lbs, and very hilly commute, I get 23 miles before I re-charge at about 15%. if I get to 12%, the battery no longer provides any assist. Ask me how I know. I'm going to assume a far better range if my commute were flat or even half-flat. I'm satisfied with the battery so far. I already covered the generaly good components and hardware so nothing new there. I will say however, that I was surprised to notice that the wiring harness that xcomes from the Control Module is open to the weather and grimey spray from the road. Kinda scratchin' my head over that point. The bike is rated as water resistant to a degeree - not waterproof. I know that, but gosh - this is the heart of the electrical system, which, presumably, would be the most difficult component to replce. So, I McGuyvered it by cutting a plastic port cover to fit, and sealed it with silicone. See pics. Very impressed with the road control, due to the weight. I ride hard, and take my turns fast, and the Schwalbe's really hold the front tire tothe road. No skitter or feeling of losing the slot. Much like my motorcycle. Frame is super stiff and there is not a hint of steering wobble. My return commute has a nice 1.8 mile downhill on which I can hit 34mph, so I softened the shocks a little and it handles the vibrations better. This weekend I went over it with all the allen wrenches and re-torqued everything. Tires still have the 80PSI I put in when new. I have to adjust three or four rear spokes a bit, since the hard cornering has showed normal loosenings. Lights are adeuqate but I added white side flickers for the forks and two for the rear to augment the solid tail light. Flickers get attention. I also striped it with white DOT tape and added patches on the rims to show circular movement. It's starting to get dark when I ride home and it helps with this stealth bike. So, I'll be back at 500 miles. Cheers.

Ordering was easy. Shipping was fast. Packaging exceeded my expectations. Assembly was a challenge and I am a DIY guy. The video referenced was not as detailed as I would like and the handlebar stem compression ring and pedals did not seat easily ultimately leading to multiple emails to Ride1Up. All of them responded to within a day or two and provided the information I needed. Unfortunately, I couldn't wait to hear back about the pedals and forced them ultimately requiring me to buy a new crank. Replacement crank was only $44 and seemed to seat the pedals much easier. I ended up having it tuned up and checked over at a local bike shop for about $35. Money well spent in my opinion. I ride to and from work most days and try to get a 50-60 mile ride in on the weekends. I absolutely LOVE this bike and how it has allowed me to get back into biking. I test rode several different brands (Aventon, Juiced, Magnum) and this is the best riding for what you get and what you pay. All components are good quality, motor is smooth and quiet (as motors go) and I love the integrated lights and pannier bag (add on). I am thinking about getting another for my wife!

Only one day after receiving my 700 series XR, I can’t even begin to tell you how tickled I am with it. The care with which the components were chosen, the frame built, and the bike partially assembled and very cautiously packed and shipped spoke volumes the moment I opened the box. Assembling it proved very straightforward, especially with the assistance of the video. Putting its first miles on it today was an absolute joy, and it handled everything I throughout it with verve and skill, including steep gravel and paved hills. A friend who spent $1000 more on his Trek was blown away and a little disappointed by how much nicer the 700 was - and faster, too. ;). I still have and love my conventional mountain and road bikes, but this brings a whole new dimension to loving and enjoying bikes.

I have received lots of compliments. Just got my 700ST I had it dropped shipped to a local bike shop for assembly. Glad to see it arrived with advertised components, unlike the bike I cancelled with Aventon. I really like the pedal assist customization and the ability to use the throttle only when starting up a steep hill. I decided to remove the front fender for personal preference. Very nice bike for the price even after the increase.

Gotta say I’m impressed. Just about 1,000 miles on my new 700 bike and so far I really like the bike. Handling is great and the ride is very comfortable. Plenty of power even as the battery drains through my daily 25+ mile rides. I’d love to see Ride1Up offer a mid motor belt drive with a throttle. If they did I’d buy one today and use the 700 as my spare bike. Great service support and very timely responses. I believe you can’t find a better bike for the money.

This is lengthy, but written for those who are shopping and not sure yet. Received my 700XR yesterday and put it together in the apparently nominal 2 hours, including un-boxing, etc. I give 4 stars right now because I have no idea what it will be like at 50 miles, let alone 500, or even 5,000. I bough it for a 7 mile round trip commute, and occasional short trips to the store. That commute has a 1.7 mile long climb of 250ft - which is a lunger for a pedal bike, unless you are in great shape, 160lbs, and 25.5 years of age. I am none of that. But, I am an experienced former cyclist. So, my 4 stars is based on the mechanics, the ease of assembly, the bikey parts, and general impressions. Let's go: Out of the box, it is typical. For a beginner, it might be daunting, but just go slow. It'll come together if you have any idea of how to put a round part into a round hole. The booklet that comes with it should be edited for better clarity, but I got past that because I have a bit of experience with this sort of thing. Others have said that the threads need chasing with a tap. I found four holes that required that treatment, but I have taps so no big deal. If you don't have taps, there is a possibility of galling or stripping threads in the hole if you try to force the bolt. The headlight does not fit the fender mount in any secure way, so I added washers to take up the slack. The rear light has overly long mounting studs that require a supplied Ny-Lock nut. I suggest mounting the light BEFORE you mount the rack due to lack of space to turn a very tiny wrench. The pedals are super cheesy. As bad as I've ever seen on any Wally World bike at the Blu Light Special. I have extra old school pedals that are actually serviceable and have bearings, so I dumped the toy pedals pretty quick. Here's why: The bike is a behemoth at 62lbs. If that battery goes T-up because you didn't want to charge it, you will understand what pedaling such a beast is like - and you won't likely decide to delay re-charging again. Therefor, it is wise to have the best , most limber pedals you can find on such a tank. Why have the increased friction of pedals without bearings? Get better pedals of ANY old school MTB. The rear brakes drag a bit, and I don't have the courage to try to turn the barrel adjuster at the lever in order to loosen the cable tension. It just doesn't want to turn. What's up with that??? The cable entry at the brake seems non-adjustable. I do not want to take it to a bike shop, but I may have to. I ditched the very basic saddle for a real saddle - my trusty Brooks B-67. I recommend Brooks saddles like no other. Been at it for 40 years. Been through a ton of saddles. I could do yard art with all the failures I've accumulated. For the posture on the 700's (and 500's) a B-67 is about perfect. And it has coil springs which EASILY equal the far more complex and expensive rear suspension on most bikes. With these bikes, you're not stump-jumping, you're commuting and doing utility cycling. Coils under your arse are more than adequate. That's it for the cons. Now for the pros: Generally good and sturdy construction. I doubt the fame will ever fail and I'm 235lbs. The fork suspension is workmanklike and I expected no more. They do adjust, but they will never be supple. You need to spend a lot more for that. Still, they do help if you have carpal tunnel or arthritis in the shoulders. You can always reduce the PSI in the front tire, too. Power. There's plenty of power. How long it lasts is up to the rider, and the limits of our primitives battery technology. Today, I will ride up to my workplace as a mock run for tomorrow morning. As I said earlier, it is a long uphill run, but coming back may be the saving grace for what may be a 3-day charge cycle, if I do my part. Yesterday's 4 mile test run was pretty amazing. 32mph top speed on a slight down run, with 16 being the average over 17 minutes of riding. At #4 Pedal Assist Setting, I could keep up with arterial traffic which is 25mph here. For how long? I have no idea yet, but I'm VERY impressed with the power and acceleration. Some people say that a Mid Drive motor is so much better, but unless you absolutely don't like your Hub Drive, I see no reason to spend more to get a Mid Drive. There is a 2 second delay as you begin pedaling before the motor kicks in, but no big deal. The brakes cut off the motor until you begin pedaling again. I was happy that the rack, a massive thing, is designed so that my expensive Ortlieb bags can be used, while at the same time, my rack-top bag can also be mounted. That allows me to pack my raingear (tops, bottoms, plus spats), and still have room for a Man's lunch for work. The stock lights are very bright. I'll add side lights and reflective tape in copius amounts by this winter. Better to look like Tron than a stealth cyclist , courting death. Those guys really bother me when they pop out of nowhere in front of my semi. The tires are good quality, and I'll wear them out as is. But, I intend to go with a thinner tire in the future because of the decreased rolling resistance. Yes, it's a real factor in pedaling - and, in the life of a battery. Decrease the footprint and the rolling mass, and you increase your efficiency, both if pedaling or using power. No Ford Bronco ever gets more than 11 mpg with those 33 Super Swampers. I'll go with 1-3/4" road treads. In the meantime, I'll keep the PSI up to max for the best rolling footprint I can get. So, for $1695 plus tax, that's what I have to say----so far. if things go south in a hury, I'll be back with some words. I just hope the company is up to the task of providng customer support when they have a Chinese supply chain. People have Lots of sad stories at every level with that - whether it's a pair of shoes or tool at Harbor Fright. Hope this review helps. Good luck!

I received my bike and had it put together without a problem. I tried out all the features on a leisurely 10 mile ride on a local bike path last week, and really enjoyed it. (In fact, my husband, the REAL bicyclist, was so impressed he has now ordered one and we are eagerly awaiting its arrival and exploring much more of our region together). I’m a bit nervous about keeping it safe, dry, etc. more than I am about riding it- it’s SO easy to ride, and it’s very responsive.

OMG Bought this to get my wife back on bike an I love it ! Still working on some power adjustments. got 34 miles with about 15 % battery left. I think i can do better, brought assist 2 up a little and 3 down a little. It is almost hard to keep it under 15 MPH !! Assembly was under 1 hour but i Have worked on my own bikes for 45 yrs so no real issues. I purchased a rack for $ 167 form Northern tool ! holds 2 bikes rated @200lbs what a great deal!. I use my Goldwing 1800 Trike to get to the local trails

I researched e bikes for four months before I bought my 700ST. In fact, I surely spent >way< too much time doing so, you can ask my wife about that. I wanted a nice experience out of the box, without spending more than $2000. I just retired and wanted something fun that would get me some more exercise than sitting around watching Netflix. I also wanted a bike that was fast - as well as having enough torque to get up hills. Finally narrowed my search down to Ride1Up and Aventon, but Ride1Up ultimately came out first in the bang-for-your-buck category. I love my 700ST, and it puts a grin on my face every time I ride it.

Wow I love my 700 series ebike more every time I use it. I live in Canada and we have a lot of hills but with the pedal assist I can climb just about every hill in our city. I enjoy riding my bike to work more and I get to save on gas from not using my vehicle. I literally have nothing negative to say about this bike whatsoever and if you're looking for a ebike this would be the one to buy. 👍👍

I love the 700ST. It's solid and I feel safe. The build is noteworthy and quality. Assembly was easy. I was disappointed that the front wheel was extremely out of true and fortunately I had a bike rack on my car to take it to the local shop to fix. The good news is Ride1Up reimbursed me for that inconvenience. I do wish the motor was a bit quieter and the vibration at certain PAS levels and speed didn't shake up the seat. But that's intermittent and not enough to dissuade me from recommending this great bike.

Very happy with the purchase of my 700 Series. This has been the best thing I have bought in many years. I told my wife, it takes the suck [hills & headwinds] out of riding a bike. I now look forward to exercising; if you can call it that. Had been thinking about getting an ebike for over two years, since I first stumbled across their existence. Looked into many brands and then saw the 700 Series review done by Bolton Ebikes. A little more research into Ride 1 Up and I was finally sold. They seemed to have the best overall value for the price. I am very pleased with the bike's fit, finish, quality and performance. 34 miles on first charge with heavy use of assist. 43 miles on second charge with assist limited to 100w & 215w [80% of time/flat terrain]. I love this Bike. Don't hesitate to get an ebike like I did. You will love it, guaranteed!

Best gift to ourselves, ever! We have been having a blast with these bikes. Really well made and not too hard to put together. Finally something we can do and enjoy together. I have always loved to ride and now my 700xr is allowing me to continue my love of riding. Once you get the hang of operating, it is an awesome experience. My 700 seems well built for the price range, it is easy to handle for me and comfortable. I do carry a lot of gear, have a cargo trailer, and weigh 220lbs. Fully loaded I have no problem riding 25-35 miles. With a light load I've done 64 miles. My 700 is approaching 700 miles with 9 months left on the warranty. I think it is a great value.

Great bike. I’ve commuted 350 miles in the last 2-1/2 weeks on it. Solid performance for what I’m looking for it to do. A co-worker ordered a 500 series after riding mine for trail riding with his grand daughter. I travel 15 miles each direction in PAS setting 3. 600ft elevation gain. Battery left uphill is 38%, down hill 48%. I tried a “turbo” ride in PAS 5 uphill. There was 14% battery life left. Very happy with this ride for spring commuting leaving just before sunrise.

My 700XR has been the most fun I've had with my clothes on in a loooong time! And don't be fooled by claims of an ebike being a cheat when it comes to exercise, either. I've ridden much farther and longer on this thanks to pedal assist than I ever did on my man-powered bike, and the post-activity burn I'm feeling in my core and legs doesn't lie. Sure, you'll get the most calorie burn from a manual bike, but when those rides are uncomfortable and you feel like you're not getting anywhere, you eventually stop. With this, I've ridden every day since I got it, at least 45 minutes and 12+ miles per ride, and I'm always looking forward to the next day when I can do it again. This thing is just awesome!

I bought two 700s, an ST and XR for me and my wife. They have been game changers for our riding experience. We can actually ride together without me always waiting for her to catch up. I am still surprised to find her right behind me on long rides. A 15 to 20 mile ride is no longer a difficult ride for her. They have worked perfectly for us right out of the box and assembly was challenging on the first one but a breeze on the second after the first experience. We are in our mid 60s and plan to utilize these bikes in our near retirement for years to come.

Very pleased with my purchase of the XR 700 Series. I'm a larger guy pushing the upper limits of the weight restrictions of the bike, and I must say that this bike is a beast. It had no trouble getting me up to speed and I was able to get 28 mph with level 5 assist. I honestly didn't expect the bike to perform as well as it has. Having put over 30 miles on the bike since receiving it two days ago, I'm glad I made the choice to buy this bike. Also, would very much recommend the phone holder accessory they offer. It's a nice item and holds my iPhone 11 perfectly and securely. Get one, get on it, and get going! Thanks, Ride1Up!

I Looooove the 700 ST. Good parts. Great features. Great value. Perfect for commuting, shopping, riding for fun. Fits nice. Extremely comfortable ride. Easy to stand up and climb if I want/need to. The 700 ST has some nice upgraded parts that are not in the online photos/video: rear kickstand, upgraded rear fender (easier install, no flange nut needed), & adjustable stem. The manual that was shipped with the bike does not reflect these new upgraded parts. So don’t freak out. You probably aren’t missing parts. Just check the updated manual. Also, be careful with your torque settings. I strongly recommend using a torque wrench to securely fasten your parts. But the shipped manual has incorrect torque settings for the clamp bar. See the attached photo for my explanation regarding the torque settings. Other than that, no regrets. Will report commuting experience & battery life (13.3 mi one-way) after a month or so & dialing in my PAS settings.

Great bike! Most of my biking experience dates back many years as a kid, but wanted something fun and useful to help us get outside more in retirement. I use this bike for all kind of short errands. Quality construction and components that haven't let me down. I was also surprised that it is much easier to use even without power on level terrain than I expected. I did add a trunk bag that easily adapted to the back rack provided. My first electric bike so nothing I can compare to, but an all around winner for me that I hope to use many years.

Just assembled my 700 and got my first 10 miles in after the snow melted here in Boise. I really appreciate the level 3 power and comfortable ride. I compared the 700 against the big brand and came away liking the feature level for the same money. There is definitely more work in assembly but not that difficult. I would say the instruction manual needs some help with more detail and photos to help identify which bolts go where but nothing that is a deal breaker.

Great bike. Tested in parking lot several times. Finally took them out for a ride on the trail. Half a mile later my wife took a fall, broken shoulder required reverse shoulder replacement. Both bikes sold three days later. I’m sure new owners are enjoying them.

Solid well build E-bike. Only regret was I didn't do it sooner. I did have an issue with it 200 miles in, and the customer support was outstanding for me, it was done correctly and toughly, to my complete satisfaction. One main thing potential buyer need to understand this is not an entry level bike, this is a solid well equipped, quality parts at a slightly higher entry level price, well less than bike of the same quality. I did put the bike together myself, while not very difficult it did take some time, all the electronics were already done, and all I had to assemble was the basic bike stuff, handle bars, seat, front wheel. I did take it to my local E-bike shop for inspection of my work, hey going 30 MPH I wanted to ensure I didn't forget to tighten a bolt. The shop sells ebikes @ $3000 and higher was very impressed with it, said I got a great deal, and joked (maybe a little concerned) don't tell anybody where I got it. I did promise them they get all my mod business (saddle bags, mirrors and all the other addons) and tune-ups, I plan on riding this for long time.

Have been a owner for about 10 months. Purchased the bike during beginning of Covid. I wanted to get some exercise, but have some steep hills around my house that made it difficult to ride. The peddle assist made it easier to navigate those hills. So far I have really enjoyed riding this bike. Some people say that I am cheating, but I only use peddle assist so you do get a lot of exercise. I love riding this bike!

I bought this bike February of 2020 to commute to work which did not pan out due to COVID but found out it was great for many other things. I typically ride in PAS level 3-4 and solo rides upwards of 25 miles leave me with at least 50% battery still! It has plenty of power and low gears to get up even the steepest hills. I have not actually ever drained the battery and never have any worries about running out. Assembly went OK and took about 3 hours for me. The hardest part was getting the wires attached to the rear light, I'm concerned how secure the connection to them is and dread the day one of the wires slips off. I also did not tighten the crank arm bolt anywhere near tight enough causing some clicking that took awhile to figure out. On large jarring bumps the chain has come off a few times. I had a some early issues with the brake sensor disabling the motor which I eventually nailed down with trial and error adjustments. Overall I considered these to be minor issues and got 1200 miles in one season! One thing to consider is it is heavy which I didn't fully realize until I looked at my bike rack, I ended up having to invest in a fairly expensive 2" hitch bike rack to make sure it could support the weight and also meant I couldn't haul it with my smaller vehicle. I hooked this up with a Burley trailer and went all over the suburbs with the kids (1 and 4) to enjoy the outdoors as well as grocery shopping and any other trips where it made sense. I believe the rear motor was perfect as it put less strain on the drivetrain and the throttle made for easy maneuvering and starts. It has been a blast to ride and has re-sparked my interest in biking after a 9 year hiatus. Everyone who I offer to take a spin on it; young and old, in shape and not, always come back with a giant smile and asking where they can get one. By the end of the year I could tell my biking ability had greatly increased when I got on a normal bike it was much easier. This bike was by far the best thing I purchased in 2020 and have 0 regrets.

I bought two of them, one for my wife and for myself, and we could not be more pleased with our Ride1Up 700's. Plus, our two Pups love the cart I built for them to ride in, that we pull behind our bikes. Fun, Fun. Any of you laugh at E-bikes, You Are Silly, as you get Much More exercise on them than you do a Regular bike, because when you get tired on the Regular bike you put it up for a couple of days, a week, maybe even a month. With the Ride1Up E-Bike, when you get tired, you hit the switch and ride and recuperate, then pedal again, getting Twice or even more exercise,, than you would have with a regular bike. And, Ride1Up is the Very Finest E-Bike you will find, Even for Twice what they sell them for.

My wife and I like to bike but at 68 we need added assistance to GO. The Ride1Up bikes showed after a backlog, we had them built by a local pro and have so enjoyed them since. The batter is incredible. Last week we took a 20 mile ride, tried to peddle as much as possible but with assist at various levels we were so on the GO. The entire bike, too many good stuff to write are all very good. I cannot say enough good things about this e-bike.

It's how a company responds that makes all the difference. It's not uncommon for products that boast a lot of technology or with a complicated set of parts and components to have issues. Factor in that some customers are unfamiliar with assembly/set-up and/or operation and there is a greater chance for an "issue." Thanks to the good people at Ride1Up and their responsive and reliable customer service staff most concerns are virtually eliminated. After building my 700 I notices that one of my tires had a gouge in the rubber; I sent them a photo and they sent me a new tire. And, with the Ride1Up on-line user groups answers to most questions are just a click away. Thank you for being so engaged with your customers. Understanding our needs, wants and potential issues has but Ride1Up at the top of the list of quality eBike manufacturers.

Some noise in gears while peddling = bothersome 3. Controller not user friendly to understand at all. I still have no idea how to run the lights, fine tune my riding/battery/overall use. Sensitivity: really??, what is that? 4. Seat= Totally useless/removed immediately. Replaced with Cloud-9 seat and added extra spring. See pic. If I’m going to ride 30+ minutes, have to be comfortable. 5. Not enough Handlebar real estate. Crowded. See pic.

Coming on 300 miles bike is still doing great. Almost time for a Spoke tensioner but they’re still doing excellent. Quite phenomenal worked on the brakes a little bit got every hundred miles you get about 62 over 70 miles per charge I lower the amperage down for pedal-assist 1 and 2 nice to be able to do that. Physical features how I rigged it out in the photographs below the seat post is different. The place where I have the trailer hitch mounted is fabricated. Added bike lights not that the bike needs more lights at all and they don’t really draw that much energy off the battery.

The fenders don’t make noise contrary to some reviews, the bike is very sturdy and makes you feel in control; something you need when your riding at 28mph! Handles and seat are very comfortable and shifter is perfectly located by your right hand fingers. The water bottle’s holders position are a bit inconvenient in that i can’t fit a regular 20 oz canteen because of the top bar being slanted down, but I’ll just have to get another smaller bottle. One other issue I found was that the battery percentage on the controller doesn’t seem to be quiet accurate in displaying what’s left, maybe it goes off of the watts your using at that current time to determine what’s left because when I lower my assistance it goes back up in percentage. Either way the pros are above and beyond for the price. All I need is my panniers and I’m set, good job ride1up!

    I’ve been riding my 700 series for a few weeks and I’m loving it. Worth noting that I had to contact Ride1up’s support team while assembling my bike. They were very helpful and has incredibly fast replies (even over the weekend).

    If I were 50 or 55 or maybe even 60 I would feel guilty about riding an ebike. At 70 years, my new Ride1up 700 is more like a time machine. It must have been designed by DeLorean because it has a great “flux capacitor.” “Great Scott, Marty” how many gigawatts will it take to get this ebike up to 88 mph? I’m flashing back to my youthful years of newspaper deliveries, Triathlons and Century rides. I did not realize what a powerful digit my left thumb could be . . . cresting the highest hills, riding places I’ve never attempted before, zipping through intersections while dodging giant SUVs, leading pace lines into the wind at well over 20 mph. Okay, I haven’t done that last one yet, but I have been dreaming about it. Seniors . . . let’s get organized. We should lobby the Dems to add to the two spending bills a free ebike with every Medicare application. Aren’t they trying to get us no cost dental and vision? What should we call ourselves? How about “Gray Pedelec Panthers?” No way Congress could ignore such a powerful group. We could have events just for us: Washington County Ebike Half Century (must be over 60 and retired to enter, Ensure and cots available at all rest stops.) If you are debating about buying a “lift” recliner, a walk-in bath tub, or an ebike . . . go with the bike. They are more fun than you can imagine. The chair can come later, hopefully much later, and bathtubs are overrated.

    Love, love, love my bike! My husband and I have been out biking frequently and as much as possible. My Ride 1 Up is not only good looking but gives such a powerful and smooth ride. So happy we have them and chose Ride 1 Up over all the other e bikes we researched!
