Shipping Information

***Increased shipping demand nationwide has caused delays in tracking updates from Fedex and delays in shipping hubs. All our shipping estimates are delayed beyond the normal timelines.
Delivery time is dependent on your distance from Nevada (our warehouse location). We typically deliver in 2-3 days within the west coast and, or 4-7 days for the east coast.

Bike will arrive 85% assembled (electronics are pre-assembled). An assembly video is located on our support page. Front fork, front tire, seat, pedals, rack and fenders and crank arm need to be installed. Installation can be completed in 1-2 hours. However, a professional bicycle mechanic must review or complete the assembly to ensure all connections are properly secure and safe for riding. Proper professional assembly or tuning is required for upholding the limited warranty (except on electronics which are always covered). We will require such verification for warranty coverage on assembly related issues only.

Package Size is 52"x30"x8" and just over 70lbs

Cant review the bike itself more than the initial impression
which is great. Quality seems top notch. I took it for an quick cruise after assembling and i cant wait to ride it more. I am a member of the facebook group and see people post their issues and the owner respond quickly to resolve or help out with advice. The video review i watched had a few gripes which were all fixed on the newer versions of the bike. Its cool that they listen to their users. I had ordered a handle bar riser because i am tall and several tall users recommended it. Guess what? They include one now. Very impressed with this company and the bike so far.

So far I have put 50 miles on my bike. Yesterday I did a 22-mile jaunt to the Tarpon springs Sponge Docks and came home with 55% battery remaining. This is significant because most of the way home I had a 15 to 20 mile an hour headwind with some hills. The bike is solidly built extremely well-thought-out and very comfortable. What is most surprising, however, is how well it rides as an actual bike with no electric-assist at all. How durable it is will remain to be seen but so far cannot recommend this bike enough.

I’m very pleased with the 700xr. It’s powerful and rides rides very smooth. I love the color scheme (black & gray). It really makes the bike look bad ass. The tires are the perfect width, not too skinny and not too fat. I’m so glad they’re designed for the street. I really don’t go off road that often. I’m 6′ 1 and the bike fits me perfectly. The pedals are a little close to the ground so be careful while taking a sharp corner while pedaling, especially at speed. The bike shifts well and the hydraulic disc brakes will stop U on a dime. I shopped around for quite some time before I finally my decision. I believe Ride1Up makes a quality bike and gives you the best bang for your buck.

I love this bike. I hesitated buying an electric bike because I was afraid it was just a lazy person’s bike… it’s not! You have the option of having the motor assist you as much or as little as you want. If you want a work out… lower the assist and you’ll get one. The battery has enough juice to get me around town and then some. I really like using the throttle when starting to cross an intersection from a stop. It’s really a blast riding this bike… especially when you pass hard core racing bikes! 😁

I had high expectations, and this e-bike exceeded those expectations. The bike feels planted, probably due to its weight. This is probably the only scenario where having a heavy bike improves the ride quality. It almost feels like riding a motorcycle (I’ve been riding motorcycles for many years). I highly recommend this e-bike!

Great bikes! and great value especially given all the research I did on what else is available. My first ebike and thought about a Rad, but went with Ride1up and am not disappointed at all. Bought the 700 for me and the 500 for my wife. Had local bike shop assemble them for the warranty. We live in a hilly area, some steep, with both bikes easily handling them and it has renewed both my wife’s and my joy in bike riding, as we are getting older (some fools call us “seniors”). Will use it to commute to work and take longer exploring trips. Can’t recommend them enough. Small issue in the beginning, flat tire on the 500 while only riding on streets, but took it to the shop to fix as it was the rear wheel.

It seems to really be a well built bike and a good price for quality components. Had a little trouble locating aRide1Up assembler so took it to an REI bike shop and they did a fantastic job assembling it for a very reasonable price. It is very easy to figure out how to operate the “controls” if you are new to electric bikes like I am. The design team did a fantastic job as everyone who sees it loves how it is styled and colored. Nothing like the wind in your hair with no noise and no carbon pollution trailing you. First ride, it went 28mph with a tiny peddle along. A 30 minute commute by car now takes 8 minutes on the bike path. It took awhile to get it, so be patient due to the times we live in~ it was definitely a smooth transaction and well worth the price. Overall, Ride1Up is a class act with really friendly, competent customer service. A+

I ordered my bike earlier this month and was not expecting it until sometime in September. Luckily for me a nice young lady not too far from me ordered 3 bikes and found the 700 too large for her. The crew at Ride1Up (Shout out to Alexander) gave me a heads up on her situation and instead of having her ship the bike back, Alexander connected me with the young lady and I was able to get my bike the next day. I had a local bike mechanic assemble the bike for the warranty and have been happily biking around the neighborhood ever since. The buke mechanic was very impressed with the quality of the bike and the parts used and was very surprised at the oomph it had. I can’t say enough about the ride, the ease of use and the smoothness of the assist. A real winner of a bike.

Bought this bike for my wife so that she could keep up with me when we go riding. Only problem is, now I’m going to have to order one for myself so I can keep up with her. The bike seems to be very well made and was easy to assemble. The bike is fairly heavy, so you have to consider the weight if you put them on a rack. This was my first ebike purchase, so I don’t have anything to compare it to other than bikes I’ve looked at in local bike shops. At $1000 to $2500 less cost, I think it was a very good deal.

We are very happy with the bikes, my husband and I went for a ride as soon as we got them assembled by a tech. So far so good. You need to get a side mirror ASAP is my suggestion. You don’t want to have to look back when going at speed. The Velotooler group did not help in our area. The mechanic in our area was not available and we had to search for someone to find someone to assemble the bike. Bike shops do not like to assemble a bike that they did not sell. During COVID, bike shops are having a hard time getting parts so be extra safe with your bike or try and get extra back up parts just in case.

I have just had my first ride on my brand new 700 and I’m absolutely sold on this bike! It is heavy and built like a small tank, but the ride is smooth! I live in a very hilly area, and even on the lowest assist level I took inclines with ease! As an experienced bike rider, I had no problems with the gears or the handling. And since I’m older now I really enjoy the throttle if I need it! I think everyone will enjoy this bike!

Just received my 700 and assembled it in a couple hours. You will need a torque wrench with a hex wrench set to tighten the crank and head tube to the expected tolerances. I also own a Van Moof and the 700 rides more like a typical commuter bike. With gears and adjustable assist setting on the fly you have a much more engaging experience. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to ride with no assist on level ground though the weight is very noticeable on an incline without assist. But who cares, that’s why I have assist. If you keep it at assist#1 and just pedal around you will get some exercise on small hill riding. The 28mph speed limit is excellent and sometimes I treat it like a moped. I have not come to a hill i could not fairly easily pedal up and I live in the hills of S.F. My cheap pannier clipped right on the rack. the only cons so far is the water bottle holder is pretty useless given how close the frame is to the mounts and mounting a left hand mirror might be tricky. It seems really sturdy and there is a lot here for the price. will update in a few months.

This is seriously the best purchase I have ever made. I have only taken one ride so far of about ten miles, but it was my first time on a bike in 30+ years (and no, today I can’t move). I was shocked at how nicely it rides without any power, and at my rarely needing the battery assistance (big hills aside). I thought with a bike this heavy I would need a lot of help, but it is a great bike that rides smoothly with or without power. I did assemble it myself and if I can do it, anyone can (had to think about what a fork was when I started). I am 5’1″ and 115 and was worried that this would be too big for me, but even with my shortish legs, it works (ST/step-through). Just knowing that I won’t be stranded somewhere if I can’t pedal will give me so much more freedom to explore. Customer service is fantastic. Thanks for making this great bike!

I really enjoy riding the bike. The bike rides very easily when the electric isn’t being used. That is an added bonus. I am getting older so it is great to not have to fight up the hills by using the motor. Also when you want to take a break you can use the motor. I highly recommend it. It makes riding a bike fun again.

I just want to thank you for encouraging me to keep the 700 series verses the 500. We Bought the male version of the 500 series in November and was waiting for the ST/female version of the 500 series. Checked site and 700 ST was available, accidentally ordered and I like it. Also two of our friends are looking at buying your bikes. We are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the shipping. Thank you and we look forward to many years of enjoyment in our retirement travels both in the cities and the forests.

I pre-ordered my 700 series XR in early March and received it a week ago, and have put about 80 miles on it so far. There’s more to unpack and assemble than I had to do for my wife’s Blix, but it was still straightforward, and actually a little fun. The only challenge was putting the fork and handlebars together at the same time without a stand, but I did most of it horizontally using the padding from the box to prevent scratches from the floor. It was very well packaged and protected with no issues in shipping, despite my being on the East Coast, and I noticed thoughtful improvements to the assembly process in this batch that addressed complaints from older owners (e.g. pre-connected lights). It took about an hour to assemble, and another half hour to tweak things to my liking (mostly rotating things on the handlebars for my long fingers and tightening derailleur cable). I got the new color, and while I do like it, it’s not really as blue as in the pictures – more like a matte, very light greenish blue or grey that’s hard to capture, but provides a nice contrast with the black components. I really love the feel of the hydraulic brakes, and the 500/1000 motor definitely pulls me up hills a few MPH faster than the 500/750 motor on the Blix. Yesterday I casually passed a struggling hardcore cyclist on a steep hill and I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face. The criticisms I have are few, but include the rather hard handgrips, the almost useless included installation instructions (be sure to watch the YouTube videos instead), and the bike’s overall weight (not easy to lift onto my storage rack). Incidentally, I am 6’2″, 32″ inseam, 211 lbs, and it’s big enough for me to get a good leg stroke without having the seat so high that all the pressure is on my hands (I angled the stem up higher than the default). No hill yet overwhelms it while carrying my mass as long as I contribute a very light pedaling effort. The company itself has been very responsive to my inquiries – I’ve heard back from the owner himself on several occasions. Highly recommended.

Excellent packaging ! The assembly instructions were a little lacking, but not unsurmountable. My only regret is not ordering the step thru. The bike is a little too tall for me, but perhaps with thicker soled shoes & a cup, I will adapt. The bike itself is awesome ! It is everything that I expected and more. I fully expect to put many miles on it this summer.

I love my 700 Series bike with the ST frame! I bought it for my wife, and now I sneak out and take it for a ride when she isn’t looking.

The 700 is much better built than the my other e-bike, a $650 no-name I bought from Amazon. The 700 has ample power for how we use it. When I’m following my wife on my cheap bike, it is all I can do to keep up.

Pros: Solid, well built, high value, powerful, and fun! Customer Service has been great in answering email.

Cons (minor, but I’ve got to put something): I wish the kickstand was farther back so it couldn’t lock with the pedal when pushing the bike backwards.

The display is nice, but I wish I could switch it to not dim when the headlight is on. (I use headlights in the daytime to improve safety).

Bottom Line: Great quality and value! I have recommended Ride1Up to my friends.

This bike is a beast. The assembly was easy except for the small screw that connects the carrier with the rear fender. Here I would choose a different design that does not require a tool to be inserted between the tire and the fender. The ride is comfortable and the motor a beast. One has to get used to the small delay in engine kick-in, but this is not a problem. Using the throttle feels like cheating a bit, but then who does not like to cheat every now and then. If I had any suggestion for improvement, it would be that for such a big bike with such a powerful engine the brakes could be a little more muscular. Otherwise, I love it.

I think this bike is great quality for the money. I bought it for my wife. My 13 year old son also likes riding it. I have a Specialized commuter bike and mountain bike and have been a cyclist for over 30 years. The assembly was no problem. The instructional video was useful. The bike rides great. It has a comfortable upright cruiser position. It is very fast. Nothing rattles and it is fairly quiet. The shifting is smooth. Breaks are ok, not the best, but great for the price. I like the adjustability of the head tube, and the quick release seat. It has a nicer rear rack than my Vado. The pedals are ok, kinda chinky, so I swapped them for some different platforms. Bottom line, I Have no regrets. I would ride it any day.

The bike was easy to assemble and works great! The ride is pleasurable, and the level of exercise can be tailored to be productive but not exhausting. It makes riding up hills a breeze!

As my first ebike, I’m in love! The only things I dislike are the seat and handlebar grips(I plan to upgrade both) and putting on the rear fender, it took awhile to figure it out even with the video. I received it yesterday and have already put 20 miles on it. It’s been a blast! The grey color looks amazing in person. It definitely took some getting used to the weight of the bike and the pedal assist kicking in. I plan to put many more on it!

Bought the 700st for my wife’s Christmas present. She loves it. I like to sneak off on it as it’s such a blast. Assembly was straight forward. Thinking of buying another one or me. Awesome bike, great value, very premium feel. Highly recommend it.

Very pleased with my new 700 series. Easy assembly, some minor adjusting, and off and running. Will probably buy a second one for the wife.

Just a great ebike. Bought secondhand so I can’t speak to how hard it is to construct. Has everything you could wish for honestly, and feels very premium. Very very happy with the purchase and now I can enjoy my 15 mile commute in peace. Can’t really think of anything I would change about the bike. Very professional looking bike, would suggest adding stickers and decals to make it more your own though.

There is quite a bit of assembly required, but the finished product rides and looks great. Haven’t yet had a chance for a long ride, but I’m looking forward to it.

I received my 700ST this week. FedEx wouldn’t leave it without a signature and ID so I elected to reroute it and go pick it up locally instead of missing more delivery attempts.
The box was in decent enough shape. Upon unboxing everything was in perfect shape, and all hardware was easily located.
I took 3 evenings to assemble it after work. The YouTube assembly instructions were perfect for me and pretty easy to follow. I used to wrench on bikes as a kid so it was easy for me, but would be easy for anyone you views it.
Get a bike stand!!!!!! I ordered a cheap one based on the recommendation of another group member and he was right on with the stand working well.
Assembly went well and the test ride was amazing compared to the magnum premium I just sold.
That bike was also 500w but the 700 climbed the same hill at 18 mph that the magnum only managed to maintain 10mph🤷🏾‍♂️
Looks like my bike commute will go from 55 min to 35-40 min and I’m excited about that.
I test rode it again at night and the lights are quite bright so another unexpected plus here.
Only issue is the front wheel appears to be out of true but that’s easy enough to fix.
Thank you for what seems to be a homerun for me.
    I can’t believe I spent 2 grand on the magnum 🤦🏽‍♂️

This is a fun bike! Was able to finish the build without incident. I’ve commuted to work on it and have also ridden it to the Post Office. It won’t replace my Surly Long Haul Trucker but it’s a blast for city riding. A great value. Would love to see Kevin take some time to provide better documentation for the controller. Growing pains for a start-up, I presume. Highly recommended as value-priced eBike.

Got my 700 series two weeks ago and it assembled just as in the instructions. Due to cold weather in the NE I just got to ride it for the first time today. LOVE IT!

I love the bike. It arrived 4 days after the order which as great. Just a few critiques regarding the assembly video – Connecting the front fender and adjusting so it doesn’t rub against the tire was not easy. More specific instructions needed. Connecting the wires to the front headlight and rear tail light very tedious and difficult. Could not tell which was positive or negative. Also not sure how to turn on these lights. I suggest an instruction video for the display as well. There was no mention as to how much air to place in the tires. The tires indicate 30 to 55 psi but it would be nice to have a recommendation. On the video you recommend certain tightening torque in metric terms. I had no clue as I imagine most of the buyers would agree. I suggest Instructing how to tighten in laymen terms.

this bike is awesome. the assist is smooth and strong and the speed is phenomenal. the bike is built sturdy yet easily accommodates the weight. with the fat tires and extra weight riding feels safe at high speeds. people compliment the eye catching design almost daily and i ride this bike with a big smile.

I ordered on of the 700 xr model a few weeks ago. It was shipped out very quickly and arrived in just a couple of days. The packing was excellent. I have a lot of years wrenching on bikes so the assembly was very easy. The most challenging part for novices will be installing the fork and eliminating any brake pad rubbing.

The only issue I will call out is the back wheel was out of true and had inconsistent spoke tension. I have a truing stand so pretty easy for me to fix that but for those without I would definitely recommend getting the wheels checked out by a bike shop.

I have about 300 miles on it so far with a mix of pavement and gravel. I love the tires on this bike, the super moto roll nice on pavement but still have lots of grip in the gravel. The frame, rack, and battery integration are very nice. I own several bikes and I think this looks just as good if not better than some bikes from the major bike manufacturers. I am 5’10” and the bike fit for me is near perfect. The motor, brakes, shifter, throttle, etc all work great.

Customer support before and after the sale has been great as well.

Outstanding bicycle, I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever pay $1500 for a bicycle, but this turned out to be the bargain of a lifetime, and being born in the middle of the last century I’ve come across some bargains. The overall quality of the product is first class and the customer service is top drawer.

Rented a Pedego 2 x, was seriously hooked but not going to pay $3300 for the model I wanted. Went on-line, found tons of rave reviews for 500 series. Was told to take a look at the new 700 series, coming out soon. Ordered, because brand new model, had to wait a painful 51 days. Now, relaxed and having a blast!!!
    Impressed with packaging.
The color display is really nice and lights up in dark and going through tunnels, etc. The Pedal assist is really fun and level 9 is fast! Going up hills with either the throttle or pedal assist with such ease is really fun!!! I can go many, many miles without getting tired. The coasting ability pleased me also.
I’m super excited about this bike and I’m afraid I will never have any desire to go back to my non-electric bikes.

I like the 9 levels of pedal assist. The bike is a little on the heavy side which makes it difficult to maneuver on Sharp turns at slow speeds.

    My honest review;
    Battery Range – 5
    Motor Power – 5
    Brakes – 5
Screen Display – 2 (Screen Display Very Small)
    Component Quality & Overall Design – 5
    Support, Communication & Question Response – 5
Available Upgrades – 4 (could add suspension seat post, better screen display and better seat as an upgrade)
Packaging & Delivery – 5 ( very well packaged, no issues)
Home Assembly – 2 (took 2-3 hours to assemble, front forks should be factory installed as with almost all other ebikes, 700 series assembly video and Owners manual could be longer and more detailed)
    Fit & Finish – 5
    Overall Value – 5
    Warrantee Claims – TBD
Available Color selections – 3 (only 2 shades of gray)

    Suggested Improvements;
-Move kick stand closer to rear to avoid pedal lock when pulling the bike backwards
    -Larger screen display
    -Factory installed front fork
-Add USB port for phone charging

    Would I purchase a second Ride1up ebike?
YES, and I did purchase a second 700 Series ST. 😀
