I love my bike, and everyone that has seen it is very impressed with it. The build quality and features are unbeatable for the price, and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. My only caveat would be that the bike comes disassembled, and it may be daunting for some people to do the assembly on their own. However, when I put the pieces together, no further adjustments were needed—the brakes were perfectly calibrated, as were the gears! Highly recommend.

I actually bought my 700 series used from a private seller. The bike already had 700 miles on it before I purchased it. Fast forward a year I have put a total of 2,650 miles on this bike. I commute 30 miles to work everyday. I've gotten flats twice which slime stopped the leak borg times but other than that this bike has never let me down. I'm very impressed. I do wish the gears could go a little higher so my legs wouldn't go so fast on level 9 speed but other then that I have no complaints. I'm still using original battery and charger. Battery has seemed to degrade but I can still make my trip everyday. I look forward to many more miles on my bike!

Love the ride of the bike and it was easy to setup. For me the seat is a little hard so I purchase a different one online. I love the bright display and how easy it to use with the pedal assist. Crazy nice bike, I don’t know what took us so long to purchases these two bikes. We ride them everywhere. As you can see in the picture we purchased a couple of heavy duty locks to lock them up when we’re at restaurants or stores in our town and mounted them on the sides of the bike. You can’t beat the quality or price compared to other E-bikes I looked at. Very happy with our two Ride1up bikes!

Fast and efficient. Assembly wasn’t too bad either, any bone head can do it. Watch the assembly video Ride one up has on YouTube. Only tip I have is, It was easier to attach front disk brake with air in the tire

The bike is fantastic - I have enjoyed riding it greatly. So far I have ridden on a 30 mile ride and my expectations are to eventually work up to 50 or 60 miles on one ride. The only thing I wish was a little different was climbing steep grades the motor seems to need breaks on the climb, but other than that I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Ordering a bicycle in NE OH in the winter time may not be the ideal time but the price became too low to resist. I compared ebikes for almost a year and finally decided the Ride 1Up was the one I wanted. I made up my mind on a price point and then kept checking the sale pricing periodically . I originally had my eye on the 500 Series. Then when the price on the 700 dropped and was so close to the 500, I decided to place the order for that bike instead. I saw so many comments about the difficulty of assembling it and that concerned me but my husband was able to put it together with no difficulty at all. The bike arrived in perfect condition. I haven’t been able to ride it at all due to the weather so I’m unable to comment on that. I will say, the bike appears a little big for me even though I got the step through. I’m pretty sure I’ll have to change the seat. My other bikes have much more, shall we say, “friendly” seats. My husband likes it so much, we ordered another bike-this time the Core 5. If that one fits me better, we’ll trade off. I’m disappointed that bike does not have suspension forks but I saw a tip about getting a suspension seat so we might change that out. The seat changes are not expensive alterations. That bike has not arrived yet. We are really excited to try them out. I only gave the 4 star rating because we’ve not been able to ride them yet. I’m sure I won’t be disappointed in the performance. Otherwise, the bike is solid, well built, easy to assemble and aesthetically pleasing in appearance.

Great dollar value and quality. Nice fit and finish, well-made. Exceeded expectations. Complicated assembly, but no issues. The headlight provides excellent luminosity. I use 1 and 2 assist levels about 90% of the time, that's plenty of help (I'm 70). Easily gets 50 miles per charge (Flat coastal Florida). Son and daughter "steal" it every chance they get. Quieter than expected.

Assembly took about 4 hrs. Had a near disaster on one of my first rides when front wheel came loose and wobbled at about 25 mph. Reset and tightened...no issues since. Ive ridden about 70 miles and enjoying the bike. Very solid, stable. Easy to ride with no pedal assist. But i find myself using levels 1 and 2 frequently around my neighborhood. Throttle is great for short quick scoots, start assist, across streets or over tougher to pedal terrain.

The bike has been fine. I am in a mountainous area so I am very glad I switched to the 700 series. There were a few issues with assembly. Main one was the spokes were loose and making a lot of noise when riding. There were some screw holes that were not threaded far enough. Other than that I love the bike and am enjoying it very much. It is very well built and easy to maintain. I have about 200 kilometers on it so far, and would recommend it to anyone.

We purchased both the 700 ST and 700 XR. So far both have been great. We had some damage during shipping on the XR but customer service sent me replacement parts and a credit for the inconvenience. Looking forward to many rides with my wife.

I purchased a 700-series in the beginning of August primarily to commute to my business, a 12 mile round trip, 5 days a week for 60 miles a week. I live in Vermont on a dirt road, so half the ride is hard packed gravel, then some rather rough and cracked pavement with some steep hills. As of today I have 548 miles on the display in 9 weeks of riding. I have been very impressed with the bike. It has handled well when I have hit rather than missed some pot holes. Brakes are great, especially when a car pulls out in front of you. Easily does 28 mph on the flat areas. Vermont is a very progressive state and does have many dedicated bike lanes on the main roads and is currently offering a rebate of up to $400. on the purchase of an E bike for commuting. The seat is very comfortable and I like the more upright position as I have not had any back or posterior pains from the ride. The bike is very solid and well built and I would not hesitate to recommend this bike to others. It has gotten me back into biking after many years. I found the assembly to be easy, it took around 2 hours and the display and throttle quite simple and easy to use.

After a pretty extensive dive on the E-bike market, the 700 Series stood above the rest of the field as the best quality ride I'd get for a sub $2000 dollar price point. It's worth pointing out that my bike came with a brake lever that was unfortunately broken, but Ride1Up's customer service was excellent and they worked with my local bikeshop (where I had the bike assembled) to send the necessary repair components. It was easy to get in touch with Ride1Up, and there were no issues with shipping extra items; a fairly impressive feat given that I'm across the country from where they're based at. I can't stress this enough, though: it became readily evident that I didn't have the expertise to install my bike in a safe (or even functional lol) manner after unboxing. So, if you aren't the handiest person like me, I'd recommend skipping the "trying to assemble," step that I loitered at. Just take your bike to a local shop and trust that you're getting the most technically sound assembly possible. In terms of riding, this is easily the most fun I've had on any bike I've ever owned or otherwise ridden. Handling is smooth and steady, the suspension is awesome, and you're absolutely flying on the "lower," PAS levels (2&3), to the point where I've barely felt the need to engage in higher assist. The throttle is a wonderful feature and you'll genuinely blow by traffic in an inner city. Best of all, the bike's settings are readily customizable and the display screen is easy to navigate. Plus, the handlebars allow for easy installment of phone mounts, rearview mirrors, lights or whatever other accessories you'd care to add. If you're seriously in the business of getting a commuter E-bike and don't want to break the bank, it's hard to look past this bike. It's an awesome value and an even better riding experience. I don't usually leave online reviews--just not my style--but this bike is so wonderful that I had to. Thanks Ride1Up!

From start to finish ride 1up was smooth in the initial purchase and delivery. Very important to me. Assembly was exactly what I thought it would be for a boxed ebike..lots of foam, zip ties and clutter all across the floor but organized to say the least. Very few adjustments needed to get ride ready..seat, handlebars, and front disc brake Easy for a novice like myself 1st ride was like butter Easily learned controls and functions quickly, 18 mile ride and I'm so sold on my decision on this purchase of the 700 RT Florida lifestyle requires no hills so this bike can really handle all that I give it so far Very impressive and thank you Ride 1Up

My wife bought the Series 700 XR for me on my birthday. This is my first e-bike. Shipping was very quick. Bike arrived in excellent condition. I assembled it two days ago. Assembly was easy but took some time. The rear derailleur was perfect right out of the box. Yesterday I took it out on a 15 mile ride on the River Mountain Trail and the Union Pacific Trail here in southern Nevada. The ride was great and I love the bike. I left it on PAS level 2 and it gave me just enough help on the hills and used very little battery. I still got a good workout. After 15 miles I still had 80% battery left. The ride is smooth and comfortable and I am just loving this bike. I don't think I could have mad a better choice.

This a very sturdy bike. It is heavy but easy to turn and has good brakes. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 200lbs. I can ride more than 35 miles in almost flat Florida on pedal assist 3 pedalling less than half the time. Top speed is 28 with no pedalling. I put on a wider seat because I 67 and the ride is a more upright position. Really like the bike it's nice to be able to be able to do a quick errand. I think I need to get the panniers.

My very first ebike and enjoying it so far (200 miles). Electric motor is certainly louder than other ebikes and some gears are more comfortable than others but overall, good bike for the money. Very sturdy and Very heavy. It flies by others on the road as going up to 30mph while on pedal assist is a no issue. Battery range is quite good too. I cycled 37miles with the lights on at 95% and ended with 40% end of the ride. No range anxiety here. Hydro brakes are pretty good and will stop you when applied. About 1-1,5sec delay in pedal assist for the motor to kick in, but hand throttle will help for the kickstart when needed. Was deciding between Aventon Level and Ride1Up 700 and pretty happy with my decision, given the extras that come with Ride1Up as an advantage. If you take your time while putting it together, you will have no issues. Hopefully support service will be good when and if needed too. If your budget allows, 700 seems to be at a good spot considering the available options, the quality of materials, build quality and practicality.

If your budget allows, 700 seems to be at a good spot considering the available options, the quality of materials, build quality and practicality.

Very impressive packaging and quality of components. Assembly was fairly easy with the help of available videos. The controller can be finely tuned to the rider's preference (PAS % power). The motor power is impressive. The slow start option on the throttle helps to avoid surprise surges when moving the bike, as there is no option to shut it off. Things to improve: 1. Written assembly instructions are not accurate (bolt sizes and torque settings). 2. My controller cannot be changed to a % battery power in the display. Customer support could not resolve it. 3. The front brake hydraulic line is too short to allow a stem extension to raise the handlebars, or to put on a higher rise bar. 4. The electric cables need disconnect plugs for easy replacement of handlebar mounted components (as per competitors) 5. A throttle disable option would be nice. 6. Walking mode is way too fast.

Absolutely fantastic from the time I placed the order to the time I received the bike --- I did have it assembled at my mike shop and it was a good choice - I enjoy every minute of it . Nice touch to include a few tools and a warm woolly hat -- better photos on a warmer day

I haven't had a chance to ride it more than a few times however I loved riding it during these trips out. Assembly was straight forward and accomplished easily with two people. I highly recommend this purchase to friends and look forward to warmer weather to ride it more often.

I look forward to riding my Ride1Up 700XR every day. I have logged over 320 miles in last three weeks, mostly commuting to work and back. The 8-gear transmission works well for my terrain. Shifting is precise. Hydraulic braking is excellent. The front shocks make for a surprisingly solid, smooth ride. The integrated headlight and taillight are a great safety feature, and since the lights draw power from the main battery, I turn them on every time to increase my visibility. The 14ah battery has never depleted fully. My longest ride was 36 miles, through hills, trails, and streets, with 20% remaining at the end. Customer support via email is prompt and excellent. After assembly, my front brake felt a little spongy, so I bought a hydraulic bleed kit and repaired it. R1U covered all the costs. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with the bike, or the company. If you are considering a commuter bike, the 700 series from Ride1Up is a great choice.

I don't think there is another ebike that compares for the value. Hydraulic brakes are incredible. Very balanced bike with perfect seat position. I purchased for my father and he turned around and bought one for his girlfriend. I have had 2 more friends purchase on my recommendation and they are super pleased. If I could offer one bit of advice....the assembly is just a bit much. Prefer open the box and go. But overall quality bike.

OMG once you ride one of these you will never go back to a regular bike. I love that i can now ride 40 mile s in 2-3 hours and not 5-6 like my regular Bike. I have over 800 miles logged and no issues. I normally use assist level 2 once and while hit the throttle for some hills but have been able to average 40 miles on 75-80% usage. Note Usage meter is not linear at all but you get used to it. I go 18 miles and it still reads 100% and i know that is wrong. Plan on purchasing a 2nd so i can get the wife out with me.

The bike works pretty good. Only issue I have is the gear between 6,5,4. It skips them up and down. Other gears looked fine. That's why it's a 4 stars!

I did a lot of homework on E-bikes; in my comparisons, I kept coming back to Ride1Up for the value and quality. When they arrived, I couldn't get over how well they were packed and protected. Well done! We are so pleased with our 'his and her' bikes, and despite her initial fear, my wife has really taken to it. We still get our cardio, but when we need the boost, we love the power and range our 700 series gives us. We take them everywhere, including our camping trips. Awesome product!

I am absolutely tickled by Ramsay, my beloved 700. He has expanded horizons ranging from distance to hills to grocery getting, and he allowed my tow vehicle to rest while on a recent vacation with my travel trailer. He has even bested friends’ e-bikes that cost $1000-$2000 more. Kudos.

Amazing bike had a few minor problems with the front sprocket being bent causing the chain to slip in higher gears and the tire spokes needed to be adjusted. My bike also came with some minor scratches on the frame and a couple dents/scratches on the fenders. The battery life pretty decent if you don't just use the motor all the time. I think I may have preferred the step through a little more because i could fit larger water bottles to the frame as the too bar limits the size to small ones. Get a suspension seatpost your butt will thank you.

My wife and I both purchased the 700 series a couple of months ago. Assembly was reasonably easy but I ran into a snag with each bike that added a good 20 minutes to the process for each. On one, the conical spacer was stuck onto the the front fork post and required brute force (hammer and chisel, essentially) to knock it loose. On the other, getting the front fender aligned and a spaced properly took way too long. It seems that over time some of the hardware and parts have changed from when the instructions and instructional video were created, so some of the screws referenced don't match up exactly. However, what was provided certainly did the trick. I had both bikes checked out by a professional bike technician who gave them both a thumbs-up. I have to say, these bikes can take a beating. One of them was not properly secured on our hitch mount bike carrier and actually fell back off the carrier while moving at 65 mph. Fortunately, the wheel straps kept the back attached but it landed directly onto the end of the handlebar, which dragged along for 50 feet or so before I could get off the highway. Besides the end of the handlebar, grip and brake lever getting damaged, nothing else occurred and the bike remained rideable. My one complaint, however, it is that Ride1Up does not sell replacement parts directly. This is why I give them 4 stars instead of 5. When I inquired about parts I was told that I needed to purchase after-market replacements. And, while they provided a few Amazon links to get me started, I could not find the exact matching handlebar or grips. The link for the brake lever assembly was not for the one on the bike. Tektro, the brake manufacturer, does not sell direct to the public and it may be that model number is no longer available through them. I did find it through a Chinese distributor but can only purchase the entire two brake set including the calipers and cables, none of which I need. We have put about 175 miles on the bikes so far and really do enjoy the ride. The 750W motor has plenty of power. The batteries are giving use between 40 and 50 miles per charge, and we are usually using low to mid level PAS settings. We did change out the saddles to some Cloud 9 seats, although the original saddles are probably fine for younger, better padded butts. We have already recommended this bike to friends and strangers who have inquired.

Great Bike, would highly recommend. Its on the heavy side so if lifting it for a car bike rack is going to be a problem, go with a 500 series or roadster.

I've posted two reviews on the website, both very preliminary because of just having 1) recieved the bike and put it together, and 2) another at about 100 miles. Both reviews I rated at 4 Stars because of that: simply not enough interface with the product at that time. I wrote that I would be back for a more comprehensive review at 500 miles, but I think it isn't necessary to wait that long. There is enough to say at this point that the 700XR is a solid, no-nonsense commuter machine that gets the job done, and then some. I say this especially after having gone to my LBS and looked at what they offer at substantially higher prices. I can buy a decent used pickup truck for what many E-bikes are going for. At twice the price, I fail to see where I get twice the value - or even 25% more performance and range. The hub motor seems to ge me up thjat long, steep hill three days in a row before I have to recharge, buty that;s still in the ball park of 24 miles, hauling the bik, plus me at 235lbs, and another 17lbs of gear and a cooler for lunch. It make no extraneous noises and never gets warm. All I have had to do was adjust three spokes on the rear wheel that got a little loose Ans so, I have upgraded my rating to 5 Stars - earlier than I had planned, but unless a wheel breaks, or the COntrol Unit goes t.u., and I have to wait a month ot get another one, I don't see many problems ahead. Anyone in the Greater Seattle area that would like to try this bike can probably reach me on my YouTube channel. Just type in OutnBacker/canoe sailing/canoe trimaran sailing, or something like that. Drop me a line and I'll getback to you and get you set up.

Great quality e-bike and excellent value! I only removed a star because the motor is advertised as 750 watt but that is max power with 500 watts sustained. Other motors in the market are 750 with a higher max output. But, given all of the features including fenders, lights and hydraulic brakes, i still highly recommend the 700 series!

So, after 70 miles, here's an updated form the first initial impression below. As I guessed, with my 235 lbs, and very hilly commute, I get 23 miles before I re-charge at about 15%. if I get to 12%, the battery no longer provides any assist. Ask me how I know. I'm going to assume a far better range if my commute were flat or even half-flat. I'm satisfied with the battery so far. I already covered the generaly good components and hardware so nothing new there. I will say however, that I was surprised to notice that the wiring harness that xcomes from the Control Module is open to the weather and grimey spray from the road. Kinda scratchin' my head over that point. The bike is rated as water resistant to a degeree - not waterproof. I know that, but gosh - this is the heart of the electrical system, which, presumably, would be the most difficult component to replce. So, I McGuyvered it by cutting a plastic port cover to fit, and sealed it with silicone. See pics. Very impressed with the road control, due to the weight. I ride hard, and take my turns fast, and the Schwalbe's really hold the front tire tothe road. No skitter or feeling of losing the slot. Much like my motorcycle. Frame is super stiff and there is not a hint of steering wobble. My return commute has a nice 1.8 mile downhill on which I can hit 34mph, so I softened the shocks a little and it handles the vibrations better. This weekend I went over it with all the allen wrenches and re-torqued everything. Tires still have the 80PSI I put in when new. I have to adjust three or four rear spokes a bit, since the hard cornering has showed normal loosenings. Lights are adeuqate but I added white side flickers for the forks and two for the rear to augment the solid tail light. Flickers get attention. I also striped it with white DOT tape and added patches on the rims to show circular movement. It's starting to get dark when I ride home and it helps with this stealth bike. So, I'll be back at 500 miles. Cheers.

Ordering was easy. Shipping was fast. Packaging exceeded my expectations. Assembly was a challenge and I am a DIY guy. The video referenced was not as detailed as I would like and the handlebar stem compression ring and pedals did not seat easily ultimately leading to multiple emails to Ride1Up. All of them responded to within a day or two and provided the information I needed. Unfortunately, I couldn't wait to hear back about the pedals and forced them ultimately requiring me to buy a new crank. Replacement crank was only $44 and seemed to seat the pedals much easier. I ended up having it tuned up and checked over at a local bike shop for about $35. Money well spent in my opinion. I ride to and from work most days and try to get a 50-60 mile ride in on the weekends. I absolutely LOVE this bike and how it has allowed me to get back into biking. I test rode several different brands (Aventon, Juiced, Magnum) and this is the best riding for what you get and what you pay. All components are good quality, motor is smooth and quiet (as motors go) and I love the integrated lights and pannier bag (add on). I am thinking about getting another for my wife!

Only one day after receiving my 700 series XR, I can’t even begin to tell you how tickled I am with it. The care with which the components were chosen, the frame built, and the bike partially assembled and very cautiously packed and shipped spoke volumes the moment I opened the box. Assembling it proved very straightforward, especially with the assistance of the video. Putting its first miles on it today was an absolute joy, and it handled everything I throughout it with verve and skill, including steep gravel and paved hills. A friend who spent $1000 more on his Trek was blown away and a little disappointed by how much nicer the 700 was - and faster, too. ;). I still have and love my conventional mountain and road bikes, but this brings a whole new dimension to loving and enjoying bikes.

I have received lots of compliments. Just got my 700ST I had it dropped shipped to a local bike shop for assembly. Glad to see it arrived with advertised components, unlike the bike I cancelled with Aventon. I really like the pedal assist customization and the ability to use the throttle only when starting up a steep hill. I decided to remove the front fender for personal preference. Very nice bike for the price even after the increase.

Gotta say I’m impressed. Just about 1,000 miles on my new 700 bike and so far I really like the bike. Handling is great and the ride is very comfortable. Plenty of power even as the battery drains through my daily 25+ mile rides. I’d love to see Ride1Up offer a mid motor belt drive with a throttle. If they did I’d buy one today and use the 700 as my spare bike. Great service support and very timely responses. I believe you can’t find a better bike for the money.

Delivered on time, packed well with no damage. Assembly took a full morning. Needed to refer to both written and video instructions. Fenders fit kinda close to the tires and screw lengths didn't match up exactly to the instructions, but I was able to work it out without too much effort. The end result was almost perfect other than the tires being a bit out of true. It was close enough and everything worked well so I didn't take it to a bike shop. I have put about a hundred miles on it. Works and performs as advertised. Very happy. Makes me smile whenever I use it. There is a bit of a learning curve to using an ebike. So be careful, go slow near pedestrians, wear a helmet and have fun. P.S. Buy a good lock

This is lengthy, but written for those who are shopping and not sure yet. Received my 700XR yesterday and put it together in the apparently nominal 2 hours, including un-boxing, etc. I give 4 stars right now because I have no idea what it will be like at 50 miles, let alone 500, or even 5,000. I bough it for a 7 mile round trip commute, and occasional short trips to the store. That commute has a 1.7 mile long climb of 250ft - which is a lunger for a pedal bike, unless you are in great shape, 160lbs, and 25.5 years of age. I am none of that. But, I am an experienced former cyclist. So, my 4 stars is based on the mechanics, the ease of assembly, the bikey parts, and general impressions. Let's go: Out of the box, it is typical. For a beginner, it might be daunting, but just go slow. It'll come together if you have any idea of how to put a round part into a round hole. The booklet that comes with it should be edited for better clarity, but I got past that because I have a bit of experience with this sort of thing. Others have said that the threads need chasing with a tap. I found four holes that required that treatment, but I have taps so no big deal. If you don't have taps, there is a possibility of galling or stripping threads in the hole if you try to force the bolt. The headlight does not fit the fender mount in any secure way, so I added washers to take up the slack. The rear light has overly long mounting studs that require a supplied Ny-Lock nut. I suggest mounting the light BEFORE you mount the rack due to lack of space to turn a very tiny wrench. The pedals are super cheesy. As bad as I've ever seen on any Wally World bike at the Blu Light Special. I have extra old school pedals that are actually serviceable and have bearings, so I dumped the toy pedals pretty quick. Here's why: The bike is a behemoth at 62lbs. If that battery goes T-up because you didn't want to charge it, you will understand what pedaling such a beast is like - and you won't likely decide to delay re-charging again. Therefor, it is wise to have the best , most limber pedals you can find on such a tank. Why have the increased friction of pedals without bearings? Get better pedals of ANY old school MTB. The rear brakes drag a bit, and I don't have the courage to try to turn the barrel adjuster at the lever in order to loosen the cable tension. It just doesn't want to turn. What's up with that??? The cable entry at the brake seems non-adjustable. I do not want to take it to a bike shop, but I may have to. I ditched the very basic saddle for a real saddle - my trusty Brooks B-67. I recommend Brooks saddles like no other. Been at it for 40 years. Been through a ton of saddles. I could do yard art with all the failures I've accumulated. For the posture on the 700's (and 500's) a B-67 is about perfect. And it has coil springs which EASILY equal the far more complex and expensive rear suspension on most bikes. With these bikes, you're not stump-jumping, you're commuting and doing utility cycling. Coils under your arse are more than adequate. That's it for the cons. Now for the pros: Generally good and sturdy construction. I doubt the fame will ever fail and I'm 235lbs. The fork suspension is workmanklike and I expected no more. They do adjust, but they will never be supple. You need to spend a lot more for that. Still, they do help if you have carpal tunnel or arthritis in the shoulders. You can always reduce the PSI in the front tire, too. Power. There's plenty of power. How long it lasts is up to the rider, and the limits of our primitives battery technology. Today, I will ride up to my workplace as a mock run for tomorrow morning. As I said earlier, it is a long uphill run, but coming back may be the saving grace for what may be a 3-day charge cycle, if I do my part. Yesterday's 4 mile test run was pretty amazing. 32mph top speed on a slight down run, with 16 being the average over 17 minutes of riding. At #4 Pedal Assist Setting, I could keep up with arterial traffic which is 25mph here. For how long? I have no idea yet, but I'm VERY impressed with the power and acceleration. Some people say that a Mid Drive motor is so much better, but unless you absolutely don't like your Hub Drive, I see no reason to spend more to get a Mid Drive. There is a 2 second delay as you begin pedaling before the motor kicks in, but no big deal. The brakes cut off the motor until you begin pedaling again. I was happy that the rack, a massive thing, is designed so that my expensive Ortlieb bags can be used, while at the same time, my rack-top bag can also be mounted. That allows me to pack my raingear (tops, bottoms, plus spats), and still have room for a Man's lunch for work. The stock lights are very bright. I'll add side lights and reflective tape in copius amounts by this winter. Better to look like Tron than a stealth cyclist , courting death. Those guys really bother me when they pop out of nowhere in front of my semi. The tires are good quality, and I'll wear them out as is. But, I intend to go with a thinner tire in the future because of the decreased rolling resistance. Yes, it's a real factor in pedaling - and, in the life of a battery. Decrease the footprint and the rolling mass, and you increase your efficiency, both if pedaling or using power. No Ford Bronco ever gets more than 11 mpg with those 33 Super Swampers. I'll go with 1-3/4" road treads. In the meantime, I'll keep the PSI up to max for the best rolling footprint I can get. So, for $1695 plus tax, that's what I have to say----so far. if things go south in a hury, I'll be back with some words. I just hope the company is up to the task of providng customer support when they have a Chinese supply chain. People have Lots of sad stories at every level with that - whether it's a pair of shoes or tool at Harbor Fright. Hope this review helps. Good luck!

I received my bike and had it put together without a problem. I tried out all the features on a leisurely 10 mile ride on a local bike path last week, and really enjoyed it. (In fact, my husband, the REAL bicyclist, was so impressed he has now ordered one and we are eagerly awaiting its arrival and exploring much more of our region together). I’m a bit nervous about keeping it safe, dry, etc. more than I am about riding it- it’s SO easy to ride, and it’s very responsive.

Wow! I absolutely love this bike! Assembly was easy with the tools and information provided. Afterwards, I took it for a 10-mile test ride. The comfort and performance was FANTASTIC. I chose the 700 primarily because it has hydraulic brakes, and I live on a ridge with very steep inclines. But wait! There's more... The folks at Ride1up made many excellent improvements to the early version of the 700 that I saw in YouTube (EBR) reviews. The 700 I received has much better integrated lighting; Improved engineering of the rear fender fastener; Added better pedals; Moved the kickstand towards the rear, away from the pedals; In addition, they added a subtle chain "slap guard" to protect the frame from chipping. Collectively, these engineering improvements add up to an awesome bike! Nicely done. This 700 Series ebike EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!!! Compliments to all on the Team at Ride1up who listened the Customer and evolved and adapted to make this excellent product. You guys certainly earned this positive feedback. I am delighted with this bike. Best regards.

OMG Bought this to get my wife back on bike an I love it ! Still working on some power adjustments. got 34 miles with about 15 % battery left. I think i can do better, brought assist 2 up a little and 3 down a little. It is almost hard to keep it under 15 MPH !! Assembly was under 1 hour but i Have worked on my own bikes for 45 yrs so no real issues. I purchased a rack for $ 167 form Northern tool ! holds 2 bikes rated @200lbs what a great deal!. I use my Goldwing 1800 Trike to get to the local trails

I researched e bikes for four months before I bought my 700ST. In fact, I surely spent >way< too much time doing so, you can ask my wife about that. I wanted a nice experience out of the box, without spending more than $2000. I just retired and wanted something fun that would get me some more exercise than sitting around watching Netflix. I also wanted a bike that was fast - as well as having enough torque to get up hills. Finally narrowed my search down to Ride1Up and Aventon, but Ride1Up ultimately came out first in the bang-for-your-buck category. I love my 700ST, and it puts a grin on my face every time I ride it.

Wow I love my 700 series ebike more every time I use it. I live in Canada and we have a lot of hills but with the pedal assist I can climb just about every hill in our city. I enjoy riding my bike to work more and I get to save on gas from not using my vehicle. I literally have nothing negative to say about this bike whatsoever and if you're looking for a ebike this would be the one to buy. ????????
