Took them to Panama City Beach, Florida and stayed in an Air bnb for a week and also lost 7 pounds. They have nice size Bike Lanes along the Ocean and have some trails I would recommend called Gayle's Trails. They are currently extending the paved bike bath. Because I'm mechanically challenged, I took them to a Bike shop for assembly. It was 75 dollars per bike. As far as range, our longest ride was 40 miles. The Battery had some juice left. We rode on level 2 for about 20 miles. I would say we averaged about 13-15 mph on level 2. When we were on the road bike path we were on level 3 and 4 we averaged 18-22 mph. I would estimate we were on 3-4 for 15 miles). We rode on level 5 for about 5 miles and hit 24-28 mph. We are definitely going back next year to ride the new trails. January and February are great times to ride there. The weather was 55- 75 degrees. We got a great rate on the Air bnb because it was off peak.

Battery life on my 700 series is superior to what my Rad Rover provides. Check out my pic. I'm currently trekking the Blue Ridge Parkway (which is a beast), but it's working out so far. I've completed 150 round trip miles so far. I started in Cherokee, NC at the South entrance and rode up to the highest elevation of 6,053 feet (Richland Balsam Overlook) and back. It took me 2 days and 4 batteries to complete. I have two batteries that I had to recharge each day, but I could've used one more battery. I plan to purchase a third battery for my next 75 mile trek. I used setting 3 and 4 out of 5 for the 7 mile uphill battles averaging a speed of 6-8 mph, and I gave the motor and myself around a 10 minute break at every overlook along the way up each climb. Going downhill it seemed my batteries recharged around 15% each descent and I averaged 32-38 mph. It was absolutely brutal on the uphill climbs at setting 3 and bearable at 4, but to run at mode 4 all the way up those 7 mile climbs will definitely eat up your battery life in under 25 miles. That's why I'll need a third battery if I'm to continue next time around.

    The battery itself works fine, but I didn’t need a battery. I was trying to get an issue diagnosed over the phone and was promptly told I needed a new battery. It sounded a little suspicious considering there could’ve been a number of reasons my ebike stopped working.. but I went ahead and bought a new battery which of course didn’t solve the issue. Now I have two batteries and a bike that still doesn’t work.

    Old battery’s still OK. Can probably 25 miles. Thought it best to get another now b/c of Trump’s tariffs.


    How does the bike* fit? Please share your height/size and the frame type you ordered, if applicable. I’m 6’2” and 205 lbs. The 700 Series fits me pretty well.

    It’s just a bit concerning when this bike(700 Series)wins awards and accolades for multiple years and is then taken out of production. You’re not making me feel confident. I personally encouraged friends to specifically buy the 700 Series.
    I had planned to own this bike for a looong time…what happens when I need parts? Frustrating. Not feeling good, once again, about the private American “entrepreneur “. But, the 700 Series has been everything I had hoped for in an EBike!
